This nice katana features high carbon steel blade that is full tang and is razor sharp. The quality of this katana is very good and is well balanced, perfect for practice and demonstration. This sword comes in a cotton black bag which provides extra protection to the sword and its scabbard when in storage or during transportation.

Good for display only
This is not the best quality and craftsmanship. It would better serve as a display, non handled sword in a case item ONLY. States Japanese handmade, but it is more like a non skilled worker that is assembling as the quality is disappointing but i guess that i may have had higher expectations for the price level. I got what i paid for. Caveat Emptor.

it is fairly sharp but the gold part by the handle was loose and I had to use crazy glue hope it holds up...otherwise it is okay it will cut someone badly.
