Averages 64 FPS; surprising performance in a small blaster. Looks good too.
My ProChrono Digital chronograph measured the speed of the darts fired by this stock Nerf Micro-Shots Overwatch Micro Tracer blaster at an average of 64 feet per second (FPS) using the 2 special edition dark blue tip and light blue foam Overwatch Nerf Elite darts that it comes with (it is capable of shooting any standard Nerf Elite darts; blue, green, white, orange, Starwars themed, Accustrike, and decorated Rebelle darts). The standard average velocity of a Nerf Elite blaster is 70 FPS, so the Micro Tracer blaster is technically underpowered, but this is still the strongest [stock spec] Jolt reincarnation I have seen to date. Some of the velocity readings were in the 70 FPS range, and I specifically recall having to do a double-take upon seeing the numbers appear on the ProChrono. Not nearly what I expected from a Jolt re-skin, and let me tell you, the Nerf Jolt has been reiterated many times but never has it become capable of reaching the 60 FPS range, yet alone the 70 FPS range. The overall size of the blaster is about the same as the average Jolt, so I am unsure as to why mine performs better. The handle part of Jolt T-bar priming handle (that comes out of the bottom of the pistol grip) is slightly thicker than the average Jolt, but the stem going into the blaster is about the size that it should be. As you can probably see from the picture, the ergonomics of the body of the Micro Tracer feels cramped due to the limited trigger space, and this is because of the hand-guard design of Tracer’s gun that it needed to imitate. I can still fit my fingers in it, but barely. The user has to pay mind not to press down on the trigger when attempting to prime the Micro Tracer blaster. Otherwise, operation of this blaster is very simple and Jolt-esque: just insert a dart into the barrel, pull the T-bar until you hear a click, then aim and pull the trigger. The draw weight of the priming handle may be challenging for younger children to prime on their own, but the suggested age range is for kids 8+ (which is probably less than the Overwatch video game’s suggested user age restriction). The paint job covers both sides, but the Micro Shots logo on the non-display side of the handle lacks paint. Nerf has become notorious for painting only the display side of their blasters over the last few years, but I am pleased to see that this small Jolt novelty is adequately decorated: The fine details and trim color choice looks very nice. The nameplates are embossed and the letters of the OVERWATCH logo are painted white. I have noticed slots and holes in the shell, and while it looks nice and all, it also provides an avenue for dirt and debris to enter. It is not a dealbreaker by any means, but I do find something like tiny rocks rattling around inside a blaster to be irritating, IMHO. Anyway, moving on. The outer edge of the front barrel is egg-shaped, but it has a funnel dart-loading feature. This is the best feature that this product has. Most of the older front-loading blasters have direct-fit barrels that most people need to look at in order to reload a dart. With the funnel, it is far easier to fit a dart in without having to look at what you are doing. This allows the user to pay more attention to things happening on the battlefield, but it is not a feature that will make this blaster a contender in a Nerf War. Regardless, it is a significant improvement over a standard non-funnel-featured Jolt. In conclusion, the Nerf Overwatch Micro-Shots Micro Tracer will not go down in Nerf history as one of the most sought-after Nerf blasters. It will not be the best of side arms in a Nerf war. All that it has going for it is it’s good looks, a popularity boost off of it’s video-game-related stardom, and an atypically higher power rating for a Micro Shot product line blaster.

Nerf gun, but overwatch?
I love nerf gunsI love overwatchTheir fire/accuracy is no better/worse than other nerf guns of this size, however I am somewhat disappointed in the lack of design put into these to appear more like Tracer’s weapons. While I’m not a desiring something to exactly match the cheeky little Brit’s guns of “pew-pew”, I’d at least appreciate some Tracer’s signature yellow colors on the nerfguns

Works good.
My nephew loved them, kind of hard to pull since he is 4 but he still plays with them

Sneak Attacks!
This is an excellent find. But be aware it only holds one dart at a time. It's great for sneak attacks, but not long wars.
