Nice one EDIROL....
I wanted a 'portable' firewire interface and this does a fantastic job. I have used this unit for a few months now and have not had any problems at all with it. I particularly liked the monitoring controls. Only thing I have always to remember is to correctly set the recording quality settings which is a manual selector switch, otherwise a doddle to use.

small red magic box
I wanted a firewire audio interface which has midi, mic leads and guitar inputs. This works well with a mac, and seemed quite a good price.
