fragile junk
cute but too fagile for out side (came in box one was broken around the base of the squirrel broken evenly all around the bottom base i had to go and buy a two mix epoxy resin and glue around it ) there was not enough dept in the bottom of the base only 1/4" so i had to reposition the screw retainer holes lower and also had to make brackets for it the inside mount-ings were off in dimensions off too small for post had to take a wood rasp to shave taper edges on post to fit (i did not want to drag out my router so i use the rasp quicker this is cute but it is junk it,s over priced crap (i did not want to waste my time sending it back it to long just to get it delivered,now i learned the hard way just buy were you can view these types of items !!!!!MY BAD

Darling solar squirrel
He's a good size, glows bright. Possibly his jagged tail keeps my pigeons from roosting on his head, can't say the same for the solar owl!! My dog doesn't chase him. Oops,that doesn't help, huh? Seriously, he's an asset to our gate between the chicken and pigeon houses, and brightens up the night.

like the item,the only thing that I have a problem with,they put the solar collector in the back.If you face the item out,the collector is out of the sun.You have to turn it around every day to get the sun. its is very cute.

NOT A BRIGHT SQUIRREL
The squirrel however it is no very bright and does not fit a 4x4 without trimming down the post and I had to put two holes lower so it could be attached due to the battery compartment sticking up to much. We like the squirrel anyway for our back yard.

What I feel about this item
This item is cute but doesn't give off much light. It is too small to fit on the fence post. I had to wire it on - lopsided. So I don't feel so good about this item.

Solar fence post cap
IT is SOOOO CUTE... but I had to return it.. it did not fit on my fence post.. was too small. BUT I LOVED IT.. Cutest fence post cap I ever seen.

weird looking squirrel
Noted that the squirrel are facing the opposite way. suppose to be one to the right and one to the left.
