James Tyler Leather Bag Bristol, made of Waxed Buffalo Leather, approx. 38 x 29 x 9 cm

I was not familiar with the brand 'James Tyler', but it seems they make good quality accessories at a not outrageous price. Bag is almost unbranded, with a small embossed JT on the outer flap, and a larger embossed 'James Tyler' inside.The bag has 5 main pockets, 1 internal zipped (inside the part covered by the flap), 3 internal unzipped and 1 external zipped. There are 2 small open pouches within the largest internal pocket for maybe a power supply and a mouse, and a few pen loops. The main flap is secured with what looks like a buckle, but is actually a hidden quick release catch, nice.The main, extra padded 'laptop' pouch is approx. 35cm wide. We have an old 17" wide screen Dell laptop, which didn't fit inside.Very understated and plain, which I like. It does look like its been well used for the last 10 years straight out of the packaging... which would be the vintage aspect. Fully internally lined and padded with a chocolate brown nylon material, again, nicely done.It's thick, tough leather with a leather smell.Internal label says... Oil tanned leather, possibility of colour loss, made in India. Nothing to worry about there i would think.Padded shoulder strap is not detachable.All in all, a well made good looking bag, if the simple styling works for you. Recommended.

This is a super, high-quality bag.The buffalo leather is soft to the touch, a lovely colour, with a great antique/aged finish. Although it has a soft feel, the leather is actually really quite rigid, giving the bag a robust feeling which maintains it's shape.The strap has a comfy pad to protect your shoulder, and is easily adjusted and can be kept short or long.There are numerous zips and pouches. My favourite feature is the internal iPad/notebook compartment, which is padded giving your device great protection. It is therefore fairly big; certainly more suited for business/work use.In my view this is a completely unisex bag, and wouldn't look out of place on a man or woman.The only word of warning; as the leather has a very soft finish, it marks very easily. I like that worn/aged look. But if you like your bag to maintain a pristine look, you may be disappointed.

Pricey...but a truly beautiful bag. Lovely quality leather, beautiful high quality construction, loads of room for all your bits inside. I am a nurse and find this extremely useful for paperwork for studies and courses etc, and the bag itself has a very comfortable shoulder strap making it easy to carry around. There are various pockets and sections inside to organise your things, and I also love that the manufacturers say the appearance will change over time as you use it due to the natural leather, so the bag will be truly unique to you. If you have the money to spare and you want to invest in a great quality, real leather bag that will last you for years, this is the bag.
