I generally keep a couple of days in my gear bag for spares. And I have some mixed into my pedalboard setup. They are thick well-made durable and flexible... now all that being said, what you're paying for them you're not going to get the quality of a mogami or a Belden wire. I can tell you. Cheap cables are for lack of a better description, cheap. However these are well-made. I have had no problems with failure or microphonics that many are complaining about here. Is down the road and I've had mine for a couple of years now, they start to exhibit those kind of problems I won't feel guilty about replacing them. Realistic expectations are the key. You get what you pay for. In this case I think you get a little bit more than what you pay for.

Been using these for awhile now with no problems. Good sound and durability. Best economical 1/4 cable I've found on amazon.

Good quality cable

For some reason, it's been extremely hard for me to find a right-angle to right-angle cable longer than 3 feet. You would think it would be fairly routine, but it's so rare--which makes this semi-reasonable price a good buy.The connectors are VERY sleek, attractive, and high quality; they don't scream such a generic name as "Monoprice." The cable is very thick compared to my other ones, and is not very limp or flexible (a down point of the cable). It is, however, shielded internally and the audio is coming through just fine; sounds good. Solder job seems good and easy to get to for repair if necessary.Could it be cheaper for its length? A little. Could it be more flexible? Definitely. (Hence the docking of one star.) But it accomplishes such a unique purpose and saves you from bulky right-angle adapters, which are just another thing to worry about, and it's a quality cable--so four stars. Buy confidently.

These cables have a very high end look and feel. They show off the quality of whatever you are connecting them to. The cable is about 1/4 inch in diameter, is pliable, and has a high quality rubberized feel. The connectors are gold plated and are very high quality metal. I could only find them in a TS configuration.In most cases these are probably overkill for improving the sound quality, and they take up more space on a tight pedal board than thinner cables with plastic connectors. They were't horribly expensive like some high end cables you can find. I use two of them to carry the stereo signal a foot or so from from the mixer to the digital recorder.

I am using this 3 foot dual right angle 1/4" cable to connect my pedal out to my amp and have everything tidy and close at hand (or in this case close at foot). I don't use a pedal board, 1 or 2 pedals usually, and I like to keep the signal clean and the set up simple. These cables are well made with big shielding around the cabling and well built jacks. The metal jack housing is the only sign these are budget cables, the gold pot metal and seams on the molding indicate the corners cut to keep the cable cheap. However they're sturdy and appear road worthy, definitely worth buying if you need a low noise and shorter length cables.

I use the cables for my digital piano. They work just fine.

Other guitar cables did not cause the buzz. I contacted Monoprice, and their customer service rep blew me off and sent me back to Amazon, so I simply returned it and went with something else -- which now works perfectly. My guess is the defective cable had a poor solder joint, but I'm not fixing brand-new stuff straight out of the box any more, when the manufacturer could have simply exchanged it for me.On the plus side, the cable is surprisingly durable and thick. Had I not gotten a lemon, and been disregarded by Monoprice, it probably have lasted forever."Boo!" Monoprice, "Yea!" Amazon for customer service.
