A breakthrough, evidence-based workbook for borderline personality disorder (BPD), with practical skills to help you regulate emotions, improve relationships, and build a life worth living. If you've recently been diagnosed with borderline personality disorder (BPD), you may be feeling overwhelmed, scared, angry, ashamed, or uncertain about what comes next. You may even find yourself searching online, only to be met with frightening stories and worst-case scenarios. Take a deep breath. BPD is treatable, recovery is possible, and this workbook will help guide you every step of the way. Despite what you may have read or been told, BPD is not the worst thing that can happen to you. Like many mental health conditions, it exists on a spectrum, and everyone's experience is different. What do you all have in common? You may have difficulty regulating emotions, navigating relationships, and managing impulsive behaviors. And you may even have trouble seeing yourself clearlyโcontinuously switching from the hero to the villain of the story youโve written about your life. So, how can you make sense of it all and start on the road to healing? Rather than taking a one-size-fits-all approach, this groundbreaking workbook meets you where you are, and combines the most effective evidence-based treatments for BPD, including dialectical behavior therapy (DBT), acceptance and commitment therapy (ACT), cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), and interpersonal therapy. You'll gain a deeper understanding of your diagnosis, identify emotional triggers, strengthen emotion regulation skills, improve relationships, and develop a personalized path toward lasting recovery. In this compassionate workbook, you'll learn how to: Understand BPD and how it affects your thoughts, emotions, and relationships Identify emotional triggers and develop healthier coping strategies Build emotion regulation, distress tolerance, and interpersonal skills Challenge unhelpful thinking patterns using DBT, ACT, and CBT techniques Clarify your values and create meaningful, lasting change Build a personalized roadmap for long-term recovery and well-being Your diagnosis may have shaped how you see yourself and the worldโbut it doesn't define who you are or who you can become. With this workbook as your guide, you'll gain the tools, confidence, and hope to move beyond surviving and begin building a life that feels stable, meaningful, and authentically your own. Review: Reduce BPD Symptoms - This workbook is a fantastic resource for anyone with BPD or even just someone dealing with a few BPD symptoms theyโd like to work on. Itโs organized into several helpful sections and includes engaging stories and thought-provoking questions that can really help you better understand your symptoms, thought patterns, and behaviors, and how to make positive changes. I use this workbook together with my BPD card deck, and I've already seen some progress! Itโs definitely worth the money, and I highly recommend it! Review: No one's BPD is identical to anyone else's - I am a huge fan of Dr. Daniel Fox on You Tube because his videos are not only very informative (backed up by research) but he is one of the few 'You Tubers' (if not the only one) to really go in depth WITHOUT judgement in what BPD really is. He has such a soothing, calming voice that his videos have given me so much more understanding and was ecstatic to find out he was releasing this workbook! I pre-ordered it and received it the day it was released since then I cannot put it down and recommend it on a Facebook group. This workbook is like a journal I always look forward coming home from work to dedicate time answering the exercises. It has given me the opportunity to self-reflect in my own journey with this illness. I love that he mentions how BPD is a spectrum disorder because it really IS. I have read other bpd books at Barnes and Noble in the past and I could not get myself in purchasing them because I felt like the author did not understand me and put everyone in a box. However, Dr. Daniel fox breaks it down really well that "not everyone with BPD is identical to everyone elses", this is true since I confessed to some I identified myself with BPD even though I have never been disgnosed. Most said, "no way you are way too sweet" or "you are just hormonal" and that maybe all true but I do not display BPD symptoms with everyone in my life ONLY with my 'FP' and those that I am emotionally attached to which are my family. I have yet to complete all of it but thus far I am loving it!

This Workbook is Outstanding - and That's Not Just my BPD Idealization Talking ;)
First, thank you Dr. Fox. You have helped me work with my therapy team to find a diagnosis that fits because watching your videos on YouTube encouraged me to be honest with myself and my doctors without fear of stigma and failure. Your compassion and belief that people with BPD/people on the BPD spectrum can seek treatment to effectively work toward remission and reduction in symptoms felt singular when researching BPD. Now for my fellow BPD'ers/potential BPD'ers/BPD Spectrum folks out there: This workbook SUCKS. It's also the best thing that has happened to my therapy journey. Anytime you want to put this book down, it's like Dr. Fox sees the future - there is almost always a moment when I want to chuck it across the room and then there's a sentence that reads, "I know you want to chuck this book across the room right now. Changing thoughts is HARD, but you've got this." Or "You did a hard thing, you should definitely eat a piece of cheesecake." I'm paraphrasing, but it is UNCANNY that he knows when you're going to start ramping up and puts a word of encouragement in the chapter. Like, guys, THIS WORKBOOK WILL NOT ABANDON YOU AND WILL ENCOURAGE YOU TO EAT CAKE. This book will also make you feel ALL KINDS OF WAYS. It'll make you write down stuff that is HARD and EMBARRASSING and FRUSTRATING. It might trigger an episode. It might trigger five episodes. Dr. Fox legit knows this, because therapy is HARD. There are breaks built into the book and he repeatedly reassures you that you are totally, completely, 100% okay to put the book down and walk away and use a coping strategy and come back when you're ready. But, here's the rub: If you keep doing the work, especially if you're taking it to therapy with you, you read back the stuff you wrote down that was hard and embarrassing and frustrating and you start gaining CLARITY and INSIGHT and TOOLS to manage your emotions. As you learn more about yourself, you gain knowledge and skills to challenge false beliefs, recognize triggers, categorize feelings and relationships, and build strategies that will legit set a course for better days with fewer episodes. Those moments of recognition and discovery are called "breakthroughs" I guess, but they legit feel like a veil lifting and it's squirrely feeling knowing that our brains are super great at hiding things about ourselves as a protective mechanism. I'm not 100% better. I'm not even 100% done with my workbook, but I feel like I now have the words and the homework to effectively communicate with my therapist. That is priceless. Buy the book. Watch Dr. Fox's YouTube channel. p.s. I haven't devalued this book and I've been using it for four months. ;)

Insightful, practical, and genuinely helpful for real-world coping
The Borderline Personality Disorder Workbook: An Integrative Program to Understand and Manage Your BPD is one of those self-help guides that actually balances education with actionable tools. It doesnโt just tell you what BPD isโit walks you through how it shows up in thinking, emotions, and relationships, and gives you grounded exercises to work with those patterns. Therapists and clients alike recommend this type of workbook because itโs structured without being dry, and supportive without sugarcoating the challenges of BPD.

A good gift to people new to bpd
My bf was diagnosed a while ago but I guess never really read about bpd too much. I could tell it was affecting our relationship and got him this as a bday present. He thought it was a great workbook and helped him understand some things with bpd a lot better

The attack is real
I knew I had BPD since an ex doctor I had told me I resembled a lot of symptoms and I looked into it myself before. I decided to get two of these because a friend of mine has been having bad episodes lately due to stress and i didnt want her going through it alone. Also to help myself in a way, kill to birds with one stone. Since I started it, I relate to about 99% of the checkmarks and it is a bit frightening but I know I'm in for a lifetime of recovering and this book is one step there. It's a bit exhausting seeing how severe bpd is for me, but it has helped me pin point a lot of things I didn't notice before, and like the book says, educating yourself in the matter is a vital step to recovery and dealing with bpd and it's doing just that for me so far :) I recommend if youre a bit iffy on sharing too much to your doctor and therapist like I still am. It makes you a bit more comfortable with realizing your symptoms and triggers and I'm sure at one point you will be able to open up and seek professional help. It is what you deserve, to live a happy and fulfilling life. You are not alone in this. We got this!

Buy it! Youโll thank yourself forever!
30yr old woman over here who was just diagnosed and after weeks of reflecting Iโve been suffering from BPD for about 25 years; this workbook is amazing. It helps you understand what traits you have, how intense they are, why you do it, trace back to where it all started and so much more. Be aware that this book with pull at your heart strings as youโll learn new things about yourself but IT IS OKAY! It teaches you how to work through it. I havenโt even gotten half way through and am enjoying it. Bought it for my mother too. Youโll have many epiphanies and a sense of relief knowing that what youโre suffering from is linked to something that can be explained. Youโll understand if you have BPD. You know that feeling youโre entire life where you KNEW you were different but couldnโt explain why? Well this is it. This is where you find out who, what, when, where, why and how. Hands down best purchase of my life. Ready to work with this book, my psychiatrist, DBT classes and my psychologist. We can get through this; you can get through this <3

Helps you fight the good smart fight!
Just got it. Just working through the workbook now it's helpful. It helps you stay focused on working through this terrible condition. You can always go back and look at your answers and see if they would be different when you look back at them one month later, and they probably will be. That's because I will have learned more coping methods and techniques to fight this monster of a disorder.

If you have BPD get this!
I wanted to study and learn about BPD and thatโs exactly what this workbook has helped me do. I am about 8 chapters in, I love that each chapter has a small bit of reading and then questions for you to answer. It really helps you understand YOUR OWN BPD instead of just the written down overall symptoms. This book has helped me and is continuing to help massively on my journey and Iโm grateful I found it. Itโs informative, gentle, reassuring, easy to read and understand even when touching on difficult subjects and symptoms
