Works good!

Product (I call them pagoda lights) was installed about a year and a half ago. So far they are holding up well despite the considerable amount of rain that we receive here in the Pacific Northwest. I installed LED bulbs. Very satisfied with the amount of light that they provide.My only complaint is the machine screws that fit within the vertical sleeves that are visible in the photo. The screws that I received had been fabricated out of two pieces. The head of the screw and the first one inch of shaft comprised the first piece. The second piece was the lower 3 or 4 inches of the shaft and the threaded portion. The two pieces had been welded together to make the machine screw. Unfortunately the welding job where the two pieces were joined was not perfect. The upper piece and the lower piece were not quite concentric so when I inserted the machine screw into the sleeve the fit was poor and the screw did not slide smoothly through the sleeve. One of the 3 screws was so poorly aligned that I had to force the machine screw into position. Due to this defect I would rate the product at 4 1/2 stars if that option were available.

I just saw what 21 of these set around our huge back yard look like: amazing! We put them on 4x6 posts with conduit up the back, on 4" threaded extenders we had powder coated to match. The effect is far more beautiful than the photo. We have more lighting that will finish the project yet to come, but these lights define the pathways better than I dreamed possible. I used 60W equivalent LED in a clear bulb and am saving a lot of energy.

Hello, I ordered 3 of them mid August and they just did not work out for us, still in original box. Can I please still return them? Thanks

This is a very high quality product, but the liner is fragile. Home Depot carries similar landscape lights for about half the price. I've ordered a total of 6 of these lights. One package was opened, had parts missing. Replacement was issued, but disappeared due to UPS failure to deliver. Next replacement came with the cracked liner. Ordered a seventh one - it came in a previously opened package, but all the parts are intact.

Had to replace the old ones at a house on the island of Montserrat where volcanic ash and acid rain took their toll on the original ones. The volcano has been quiet for 7 years now, since February of 2010, hope it stays that way!

This is my second one replacing kicked over lamps in the string. We run an RV Park & Campground so things breaking is a normal part of life. Excellent quality and easy to install. I use 25 Watt equivalent LED lamps (2 Watts) by FEIT. Consider buying the P8562-31 Quick-Mount Post if you want something heavy duty.

can't believe I actually found this to replace one almost exactly like it that must be more than 20 yrs old because was here when I bought house. decent price compared to most hard wired outdoor lights.
