Morphy Richards 978051 Dimensions Roll Top Bread Bin with Stainless Steel Body, White

I nearly didn't buy this after several reviews noted that the item was damaged, however; it wouldn't be the first item I have needed to return (usually with ease) so I decided to take the plunge.Aside from the Amazon box, it was packed in another brown cardboard box, together with the item's signature box, together with cardboard protection either end of the bread bin and and a cardboard strip through the middle protecting the handle and stopping it from moving in transit. With all that protection, it arrived in perfect condition. I shouldn't have worried.One thing I noticed early was the air holes in the back of the unit, to allow some air circulation, which isn't pictured above. I've read from a few top chefs online that bread needs air and should not be kept in an air-tight container. I accepted their word, which is why I chose this style of bread bin.The bin is very light, roomy, clean and attractive and arrived in perfect working order. I'll update again when I have had time to determine if my bread lasts longer than without it, but so far, I'm happy with purchase and happy to recommend.

It is just what i needed, do not get damp, keeps bread fresh, and is big enough to hold two loaves of Bread, looks nice, in the kitchen

At last after years of buying useless bins found a bread bin that keeps freshness in bread White pattern colour looks good in my pastel kitchen big enough for sliced bread and perfect ease of use such as opening perfect , seal excellent 👌 performance all round excellent

It would have been very nice if it wasn’t so flimsy. The box it came in was slightly dented so if this had been shipped with better packing materials it may not have come damaged. The black metal cover came dented in and some of the black metal was chipped off on the front so it was very noticeable and not something I want in my beautiful kitchen. I would not recommend this product. I am returning it.

Vor dem Kauf dieses Brotkastens hatten wir einen aus Zirbenholz, der das Brot wunderbar frisch hielt, aber sich leider schwer reinigen ließ. Daher mussten wir ihn nach ca. 2 Jahren ersetzten. Nach langer Recherche haben wir uns für diesen Brotkasten entschieden und sind ziemlich enttäuscht. Spätestens nach 2 Tagen ist das Brot knochentrocken.Definitiv keine Kaufempfehlung!
