Needs to be mounted on something, but once mounted - provides an effective method of removing mud and other "stuff" from shoes or boots. Nice design provides good contact to footware. Very sturdy product.One "gotcha" that isn't a product or design fault is that when scraping, the bristles just might fling some "bits" straight up. Moving foot around can reduce this side-affect.

The Deluxe Scrusher works great. I also ordered the steel base to secure it. High quality and really does the trick. Worth the investment. Saves me the time cleaning the mud room floor almost every day (lots of sand, salt & snow in Minnesota). We will have this for many years, and can replace the brushers if needed, so I can justify the price. Packaging feedback: The box the Scrusher itself was in was very sturdy, but Amazon put this inside a much larger box with a couple other items; that outer box arrived very damaged since it was so empty and the heavy Scrusher was down at one end: I would advise Amazon to ship this item by itself in the future.

I HATED spending this much money on a boot scraper but it is so nice. Works well. I’m mounted it to concrete. Being raised up allows cleaning of mud. Very well built. No regrets buying a higher quality product.

It is well made. And you can order replacement brushes if needed. Works ok.

Perfect for stepping on land mines! I’m always stepping on my dogs dunkie in my yard and this scrusher scrapes them right off clean. 5 stars

We love Scrusher products. We had this same item for 15 or so years. I could have just replaced the brushes this time, but decided to get another full set to use in the garage and will get brushes for the one we have

These little guys are great at what they do. Which is sit there month after month cleaning the gunk out of your shoes. They will not last forever, and they do have refills, but they take a "kicking" and keep on sweeping your boots/shoes. If you have boots in your life you need a couple of these. I am on my first refill and they lasted over a year outside and the one that is covered by the porch still looks good.
