I rate this instant read meat thermometer high because I love how I can use it throughout my house. I've tested it in the kitchen measuring temperatures while cooking candy . I've used it in the backyard cooking chicken and roast on the barbecue grill. I've even measured the temperature in my garage.The 2 clips on side of probe holder are very handy for putting on the side rims of my pots. So in short, it reads the temperatures very accurately and instantly while being a very versatile tool to have around the house.

Didn't really work. Powered up and worked a couple of times and then didn't function anymore. Replaced batteries twice and same problem. Returned item for a refund.

This thermometer is ready to go as soon as you get it!All you have to do it turn it on and then get to checking the temperature!Love that the probe holder comes with 2 clips.. one on each side so that you can hang this off the side of pan and not risk burning yourself checking it's temp.The display is large and easy to read! The probe registers the temp so quickly that you don't have to worry about your food cooling if you have to pop it back on the grill or back in the oven!It's water proof, shatter proof and easy to clean! I cook everyday and love this meat thermometer! Works amazing use it to check chicken,steak, ribs works great no more undone food! My kids love helping me check and get excited reading it! So I use it DAILY! I received this product in exchange for my unbiased opinion
