This product is excellent at cutting 1mm mild steel sheet(or at least it was for the meter or so that I could)Unfortunately, I needed it to cut through 1.5mm mild steel sheet and after cutting 30cm or so the cog connected to the lever stopped turning the feeding wheel.What had gone wrong was that in the mechanism there is a tiny gap probably 1mm between the cog and the and the feeding wheel, which is just enough space for the pin that connects the two to slowly bend and move into the gap, coming out of the hole it needs to be in. You could probably fix this by drilling a hole in a washer and putting it in the 1mm gap or adding further pins.Either way great for 1mm, will break under the strain of 1.5mm
