This looks like a quality kit - and the screen feels nicely made, however, for my needs it's really not what I need.I already have a remote 2.4GHz camera installed so (before fully installing this kit) tested the monitor with that camera. Although this, admittedly, isn't a full end-to-end test of this particular kit, it did reveal that the monitor is, effectively, always on - unless you switch it off, using the button on the power adaptor. To be honest, that's a faff for something you'd like to simply burst into life when you select reverse. My preference would be to hard wire this - which would allow not control over the screen. In daylight, that may not be too big an issue, however at night, it's really bright - and being located on the dash top or windscreen will be a real distraction.

Good cheap set. Pleased with it.But only problem is it looses signal sometimes, it maybe because its small aerial is inside van .
