Just an FYI these items did not come individually wrapped. I use them at home so it's not a problem. They are great boba straws.

This has nothing to do with using a straw as it was intended. Instead you see where small jigs are protected by shoving them in cut straw pieces. Unprotected jigs and lures end up chipped and discolored if jumbled together in a tackle tray. So after a few years the entire bunch of them look very unappealing. These straws provide outstanding protection cheaply. Of course you have to match straw size to lure, and this only works on smaller jigs, spoons, jigging Raps etc. If the jig is too big for the straw cutting part of the tube may allow for a good fit as shown above. The biggest straws I’ve found are 12 mm. Most are 10. If you use a lot of jigs and small lures it might be worth getting a few different straw sizes and trying this. To test the idea save some restaurant and smoothie straws and give it a test run. I cast and paint my own jigs; with all that work invested I want to keep them like new. But I protect the ones I buy as well.

Perfect for Boba

This was my first time using these as supports for inside a cake. They worked. They are easy to cut.

I bought these to reduce garage door noise. These are the exact size (12mm I.D.) needed to slide over the 12mm roller stem. The plastic tube prevents the metal roller stem from banging against the metal tube in the door hinge that holds the roller. Most large plastic straws are not large enough to fit over the stem. With a little dry silicone garage door spray lubricant inside and out, it eliminates a lot of metal to metal rattle noise.
