This is so much better than a blanket for a cosy layer in the evening. The shape is absolutely perfect for staying in place without having to hold it. It comes down to below the waist level so no draughts and an absolutely lovely snuggly covering of the arms and shoulders. The material is thinner than a blanket so it isn't as bulky as I'd expected which is nice, and despite that it is lovely and warm. Although I'd bought this for in the house it looks lovely and I'd be happy to wear this to go out as well!

Got this for my sister as her birthday gift , she loves it and it is super comfortable , she loves wearing it and quality is so great and colors are just so beautiful. Usually clothes advertise are not as long as they appear in the picture but it was the exact size . I recommend it if u buying it as a gift for someone.

I purchased this beautiful shawl is absolutely brilliant. I like the material which is extremely muted and soft , it looks thinner but it's very warm and incredibly comfortable that keeps my surprisingly very warm whilst I wore it in the house. Also，I like the wrap is reversible which I can chose a different appealing design to fit my mood ,in a word , I am so glad I bought it and would recommend seriously.

My office is north-facing, and so is often pretty cold in winter. As a result, I like to make sure I have something in there that I can wrap around my shoulders should the temperature decide to drop while I’m working, and this shawl is ideal for the task.I’m not sure why they describe it as a poncho, as it’s definitely not a pull-over-your-head item. The simple, large split rectangle of fabric wraps easily to keep you nice and warm and is one of the few one-size-fits-all items I own that actually is going to fit pretty much all. It is quite long in the back, though, and does have a habit of catching on things and wafting them along - possibly not as much of an issue if you’re tall, but, as someone who is fairly short, I have taken a few bits and bobs with me as I’ve passed by!Because it’s reversible there is no garment tag - a slight problem if you ever need to launder it, as there’s nothing on the plastic bag it comes in, either. Although the product page says it’s a blend of pashmina (cashmere), lambswool and polyester, it looks and feels a lot like polyester fleece - but then, it’s not like I have anything else made of cashmere for comparison.I have yet to wear this outside, although I know from past experience with shawls like this that it won’t be windproof or particularly good in the rain. I also use a rucksack as a handbag, and they don’t play well with this style of wrap, either. But as something to throw round my shoulders for an extra bit of warmth, this is an attractive, lightweight and comfy alternative to a cardigan.

The size L wrap is HUGE. I'm 5ft 7 and wear a size 24 on my top half (thanks to a DD chest). I am absolutely drowned by this wrap.The wrap is a blanket with a slit across one half. It's not soft and drapey like a pashmina or chenille scarf. You don't so much wear it, as it sits on top of you. It's not snuggly, it's most definitely just a wool blanket with a slit.The wrap isn't particularly warm, it's more a spring evening cover-up than a winter warmer. There's slight shedding of wool fibres against other clothes, particularly jersey, but it's fairly minor. The advert says the wrap is reversible. I don't entirely agree with that. It's obvious which is the right side, and the wrong side, as the darker right side panels show through the wrong side lighter colours. (The photo shows right side on the right, reverse on the left).The stitching is good. The wrap is made of one piece, not different patches sewn together, and there are no obvious faults. The blanket stitched edging is strong and makes a nice contrast.As for colour, although this is called Orange Plaid there's no orange. It's dark terracotta, dark mustard and black on the front, plus some beige mix on the reverse.I planned to put this through a machine wash to test it, but I really think I'll be left with a lint-covered drum it'll take days to get clean.It's a nice wrap, just huge and very obviously a blanket!

This is a really lovely huge wrap which is essentially a large blanket with a slit at one end to enable you to drape it over your shoulders and arms. It is pretty soft and cuddly and can be reversed so that you can have two different designs. The edges of the wrap are stitched with a wool to keep them neat.There are loads of different designs to pick from with this wrap which is great. The one we have is based round a subtle natural set of colours and looks much better in real life than in the pictures. When you are wearing the wrap it is warm and comfortable and is suitable for a variety of occasions from the most casual to more dressed up situations.Unfortunately this wrap is not designed to be washed in a machine and must be hand washed so this is worth bearing in mind when looking to purchase. At just under £20 it is a really decent price and would make a great gift for any age.

The fabric is very soft and light, poncho is reversible so you can choose the lighter or darker side to suit your mood.All the edges are finished in a neat blanket stitch, you can use it over a jacket for extra warmth or on it's own. My daughter wore hers indoors when she was making her jewellery, kept her cosy and her arms were free to work. It's smart looking and could be used with a brooch to make it look more formal. The front is shorter than the back, the length of back comes down enough to cover the hips completely.There are no care instructions with the poncho but it can be machine washed though hand washing is recommended and with a gentle detergent.Lovely colours that will work well in any season and not restricted to the younger generation, I think it's perfect for anyone who wants to keep the chills at bay.
