This product does exactly what it says it’ll do. So far I’ve tried it with an iPhone and an iPad mini. I’ve used it to assist me with cookie decorating (with food coloring pens) as well as making greeting cards. I found it best for me to position it where the back of my phone was facing me and I was teaching my arms around in front of the device. This way, I was looking straight on to what I was doing. Also, I was seeing a bit of a double image in the reflection on the plastic. It’s not too big of an issue unless you are really wanting to be super precise in your tracings. When I did my cookies, it didn’t matter too much to me. I just traced as carefully as I could and tried to follow the same “image” reflected. Then I realized, if I closed one eye and remove the binary vision, it also got rid of the double image I was seeing. When I made my greeting card, I closed one eye during the process. Could be a bit of a hassle to do that for some people, but I finished my tracing rather swiftly and was just fine keeping one eye closed for the few minutes it took me. For the price, I think it was definitely worth it. I can use it again and again for multiple uses.

Giving it five stars because for the price paid it does exactly what it states: it reflects an image from your phone for you to trace. The image is not going to be crystal clear for fine details and if the image is too dark you will not be able to see much detail at all. Ambient light in the room will also affect how much you see. I don’t recommend this for kids because it takes patience to get the knack of using it.

For the price, this thing is so handy for decorating cookies! Whether you’re tracing things out before icing them or drawing a design on them with a food marker or icing, it works so well! I just found the image I wanted, saved it to my camera roll on my phone, and set it up! Make sure you adjust when your screen automatically locks so you don’t have to continually unlock it. Also, if it’s anything with words, make sure you reverse the image on your phone! I’ve thought about spending over $100 on a mini projector before, but this seems like a wayyy better value!

This is a very simple but effective device. It works great with iPad or iPhone. You can quickly get an accurately proportioned sketch laid out. I usually prefer to do my sketches from observation but if you are looking for accurate proportions this devise saves a lot of time.

I left a review to try and warn other buyers of my bad experience buying this product. I have been a long and loyal customer of Amazon and they refused to upload my negative review. I paid nearly £9 for this product and only received a piece of plastic. Please be warned this product may arrive incomplete.

It was a little ‘difficult’ to get used to but a very useful aid in sketching and drawing and for getting proportions correct...

At first I couldn't figure it out. the picture was too small from my phone and the apps in the booklet did not work well for me but then I went online and found a similar item on YouTube and downloaded the Etchr mirror app, It worked really well with my iPad, it took playing around with the lights a little bit but it works well, I think it will help me to draw pictures accurately for my watercolor art

Not for me. But not bad concept. I prefer printer and light box.
