I was looking for a compact bottle to fill after airport security and something small enough to fit into my handbag at my destination. It folds up small and as other reviewers have noted the sides of the bottle were kind of stuck together HOWEVER I simply blew into it like a balloon and the walls separated with no problem. The bottle stands upright well full and even with little liquid left inside. I didn’t taste anything from the bottle itself and I am funny about the taste of my water. Fits great in my handbag without taking up much room. It’s not big but holds more than enough to take the edge of being thirsty walking around. I would recommend that you hold the bottle by the plastic rim so the water doesn’t flood out if it when drinking. No leaking so far from the lid so fingers crossed it holds out for my trip.EDIT- I purchased a black bottle for my son because I liked the yellow one so much, and noticed that there was no rubber seal inside the cap. I double checked by filling with dish soap and water and giving a little squeeze and sure enough bubbles formed at the lid and neck. So, before you go out with your new bottle double check the rubber seal is provided in the lid. I returned the bottle and requested a replacement with no issues. The new bottle has a seal.

This arrived quickly with good instructions on cleaning and using. I purchased it to have on airline trips so I don't have to lug around large bottles and the fact it can be rolled up and stored compactly. I followed directions on reviews and in box to clean with warm soapy water and let it sit in that soapy water for a while to try to minimize that "new" silicone type smell and taste. The first bottle or two of water did have a teensy aftertaste but it is totally gone after a few times being refilled and cleaned. I would say the drawbacks are that drinking it you have to train yourself not to "squeeze" the bottle hard unless you want to spray yourself and others with water. Also the cap needs to go on very tightly to not leak if you are carrying it inside a bag (lesson learned the hard way!). I just decided to always carry it outside back or attach with a carbiner to my bag if walking with it filled. I love that it is lightweight even when filled with water, everyone at my meeting was impressed with it. I would make small tweak and have the cap be attached somehow to bottle, I almost lost it twice! But for price and value, I think it is a great resource for not using as many plastic bottles while traveling!

I got this bottle because it's lightweight, isn't made of plastic and isn't rigid. The idea being that I can just toss this in a bag and it's out of the way when it doesn't have a liquid. Mine didn't have a weird smell, but I went ahead and let it soak for 24 hours in a mixture of 3 tsp citric acid and water and then dry out. When I used it for the first time after that, there wasn't any off flavor that I could tell.It doesn't leak, but I did notice that it's easy to get water underneath where the plastic joins the silicone on the top. The other thing is that the spout for pouring in water is somewhat narrow, which makes it harder to fill with plain soda water. The trade-off for that is that it takes up less space when it's not in use.

I like the idea of having a portable collapsible flask for theme parks, hiking and traveling on plane (after security checkout).One design flaw is that the cap is not attached to the flask so you can lose the cap easily since it's so small.The biggest flaw with this brand compared to the E-Senior brand I tried is that the insides were stuck together like glue. I didn't think silicon could be this sticky (unless there is another chemical making it stick). Now I'm afraid to drink out of it.It wasn't suction pressure but literally sticking like glue (see video). Could barely even pry insides open. Used a plastic chopstick carefully to help prevent puncturing.The flask does stand up but the shape is all dented and deformed from being stuck together like the first one.Also, as with many flasks of this type, it seems like a hit or miss regarding the taste of water when drinking from it. I'm returning this one anyways.But I was planning to soak insides with lemon and baking soda water overnight and give it a thorough soap wash. But it's off to a bad start. I'll see if a replacement is any better.*update* Received a replacement. It was still sticky again on the insides and had to get a long chopstick to separate the insides.I'm returning this one too. I didn't like the idea that the material was sticky inside and I'm gonna be drinking out of it too. Just bad quality.I tried another brand, E-Senior (probably from same manufacturer as it looks exactly the same), but this brand seems to have better quality for some reason. It even looks like the product pic when standing with a nice rounded rectangular shape. The insides opened up just fine without any stickiness at all. Mabe this company has better quality control.

Bought this to go on a trip to Europe! When filled it for my first flight it leaked all over everywhere!! What really is frustrating is that I was gone for a month and now the return window has expired!! 😡
