I bought this beautiful cup after my ello one broke. I had the ello one for years but it has less capacity than this one that is why I ordered this one. Have been using it for less than 2 months and it has started to grow nasty mold on the lid. I only used it for water no other liquids. At first every time I washed it I noted the more wet spots in certain areas (like the wood looked darker) then all of a sudden they started showing color. The cup is beautiful and servers great for its purpose but the lid seems to be unsealed or untreated properly that it grows mold. That is unsafe and disgusting

I read other people’s reviews about the bamboo lid molding and thought I could avoid that by washing and drying it regularly. Nope, I left water in the cup with the lid sealed overnight once and it developed a black mold that would not scrub off. I threw the lid away and now I have a glass cup with a rubber sleeve and straw. If that’s all you want, then buy this product. But if you want a cup with a lid, look elsewhere.

It’s pretty. I got this for my desk at work thinking I don’t need it to be hardy or cooling since it doesn’t stay in my car. However, it warms so quickly so I stick with my yeti and other cooling bottles/cups mostly. The wooden top has shown wear and drying even though I never put it in the dishwasher or let it sit in water. Would not recommend.

Unfortunately I didn’t make the window for return but I do not recommend this item since it created a mold on the bottom of the lid. My daughter was so disappointed and so am I.

People say the lid gets moldy but it hasn’t happened to me and I have had it for about 2 months!! You must let the lid dry out for a day or two or else it’ll be like any wood/bamboo and get moldy don’t be lazy and clean it correctly! This cup is great! Well worth my money and holds a ton of water very convenient!

Loveeeee this mug! Looks a little smaller than expected. The cup is heavy, but this is is so classy! Looks very upscale, study. The wood on the cup looks like I would have purchased this at Nordstrom. Bought the white. :)Absolutely in love with this cup! Thank you Amazon!

DON'T BUY IT!I loved it as soon as I received and started using it. I used it daily for a month and then started seeing some black spot on the lid and soon realised that it was mold. Would not recommend buying. It's a waste of money. Don't buy it.

I was surprised at how leak proof this cup is. I've been using it for smoothies/protein shakes. The rubber outside is a plus because it makes it easy to hold. I'm probably going to end up buying more
