Jackson JS Series Spectra Bass JS2, Snow White, Laurel Fingerboard

It's a great bass for the price. The active pickups are awesome. It plays nice out of the box, just minor tweaks as far as set-up (and some new strings). Certainly a quality bass with active pickups for an affordable price.

I thinking is the best bass in this price range,Active and passive electronics, body is balanced and awesome tones.It just need a good setup out of the box, maybe some new strings ( at least 105s for drop d) only minor imperfections and a really tight elecronics cavity cover (had to hit it with a screwdriver to get it loose). Honestly its perfect for beginners and for gigging.

Only complaints:- Arrived with a deep nick in the horn right at the strap button. Assembly process needs better QC.- 9V is only accessible by taking the entire back cover off?! Be prepared in advance if you're gigging!Sounds great with flats though! Decent bargain.

I had to do a lot more setting up than I did for my Ibanez I had just gotten too.The Jackson's strings were laying on the fret board fretboard so I had to fix thatbefore tuning. With everything fixed it sounds good. 😁

The turn key for tightening the string is broken and I can’t get ahold of anyone to get it fixed or send it back.

I’m a beginner on the bass. It has a whole different feeling than an acoustic guitar, of which I’m now physically unable to play. It’s more like a percussion instrument, with a big, wide fret board that gives my fingers more room to avoid damping adjacent strings. Flawlessly finished, this is a beefy, well-made instrument that plays good without requiring a setup. It’s a perfect starter, with potential for future modifications.

El bajo como tal es muy bueno llego en perfectas condiciones y en el tiempo mencionado.Tenia un pequeño error de tierra y no llego ajustado a mi parecer, recomiendo mandar a un lutier en cuando llegue

El equipo llegó a tiempo , sin embargo, tiene un ligero golpe en la parte de atrás . No lo regrese porque no tengo tiempo. Al probarlo hay que ajustarlo o mandarlo a ajustar porque viene desajustado. El sonido es bueno en general.
