Knights of Caliban (Warhammer 40,000)

Loved this book the writing was different for the warhammer 40k universe. However that's what carried this book and made me fall in love with the Dark Angel's.

I don't know jack about W40k, but my husband does. I got this book for him and he liked it a lot~

A collection of 3 novels that get better as they, so a nice value.Belial is an idiot. He gets a lot of people killed, due to his incompetence. An appropriate Company Commander for the Dark Angels.Astelan is right. I'm on the Luther side of the schism, and the other Dark Angels continue to show why.Azrazel actually seems some what sensible. As I said, the stories get better as you go.I'd pick up if a WH40k fan.

***Be aware this is the SECOND OMNIBUS for the Dark Angels, I was not aware of that I read this first though I don't think it makes much of a difference*** If I could give 4 1/2 stars I would but I leaned towards 5 because I am a biased. The Dark Angel's are my favorite legion in WH40K and these books do them justice. The first book is awesome and the second is the best in the omnibus. The third started slow and picks up but the ending comes rushed and left me scratching my head. No spoilers but I hope they do right by the Dark Angel's and show them even more love in the Imperiums future. Recommend reading this without hesitation.

A 4 star rating, good characters and some engaging battle scenes. I would have liked a few secrets to be revealed such as some hints about what the Watchers really are or about Luther. Otherwise a fun book to read.

Found myself putting back about 70-80 pages a night versus my usual 40. Gav Thorpe is my second favorite Warhammer 40K author after Ben Counter. Both cruel and captivating, The Dark Angels seem both humanitarian and barbarically cruel at the same time. In the nightmare future of Warhammer 40K that cruelty is to be expected, as there aren't really any good guys in Warhammer 40K.

Character stories of Dark Angels battles. Well written and inspirational for WH40k players, especially Dark Angels or other Space Marine players. See if you can do better or even just immerse yourself in Dark Angel warfare. Great buy and something I shall read more than once!

Habe es für meinen Freund zum Geburtstag gekauft, da er ein riesen Fan von den Dark Angels aus Warhammer 40k ist. Leider hat das Buch oben links und hinten eine große Delle drin, weswegen ich nur 4 Sterne gebe. Ansonsten alles top!

Damn good read. If you are interested in the dark angels it’s not a bad place to start
