It is Abba what can I say, of course it is brilliant ! Lovely item for any Abba fan, would definitely recommend.

This album collection was really good.I ordered it to India and I got the it in just over a week.It was really good to hear all of ABBA's songs other than those included in the ABBA Gold collection.

Beautiful Boxed Set, excellent reproduction of covers etc and, unlike the Blondie Boxed Set, the LP's slip in and out of the slip case nice and easily. Unfortunately I seem to have received a bad pressing. Side 2 of 'Arrival' is terribly distorted. I'm hoping its just this copy. Have arranged a replacement, so fingers crossed the second copy will live up to my expectations.For that reason, I can only give my review a low 3 out of 5. Will review again once I get through an unblemished set.

No nonsense box set of the original albums on heavyweight vinyl, the slipcase for them is nice and rigid. Nothing new if you have already bought them. But as package and an accompaniment to the singles box set released in May this is an affordable way to have the albums as I originally bought them. Well done, happy 40th ABBA!

The final instalment released for Abba's 40th Anniversary year (2014) is essentially a vinyl equivalent of  The Albums  cd set with two major differences. The vinyl albums, despite the incorrect track listing on the back of the slipcase box, are presented here as originally released in Sweden (including Swedish versions of Ring Ring and Waterloo) and there is no extra disc rounding up the single only/non album tracks. This means that a few hits are missing from this set, most glaringly Fernando. A bonus 7" of that song would've been a good extra. There is also no booklet however all albums come with lyric inserts if they were included with the original release.The cover reproductions are ok. Nothing special. Colours perhaps a bit faded on some, particularly Waterloo and Ring Ring. Surely the original images could've been located and new prints of the covers prepared. I would've paid the extra for that. The records themselves are pressed on high quality 180 gram slabs and sound very good. Apparently they have been mastered from the original analogue tapes that would've been used to cut the records back in the 70's and early 80's. These albums were first heard on vinyl and it's nice to have them back on black. If however you don't want to play your records or have no means to, there is an mp3 download voucher of all the box contents included. This is the second time these albums have been repressed and were previously available, albeit on lighter weight vinyl in the now out of print  ABBA - The Vinyl Collection [VINYL ].It's a beautiful set and full marks go to Polar Records and UMe for the range of vinyl products they've created for the Abba 40th Anniversary including  ABBA: The Singles [7" Vinyl ] box set, the repress of  Gold [VINYL ], the  Waterloo (40th Anniversary Picture Disc) [7" Vinyl ] and the box set this review is about. All stunning sounding releases. I advise anbody interested in purchasing this Abba vinyl box to have a look around the other EU sites for Amazon.
