9x9 Great for Kids' Items
I love this heat press! I used it 10 times, so doing a review now, is proper for those questioning the purchase. It works better than expected and makes creating that much easier. I've used it (with a heat mat) on my bed, ironing board, vinyl plank floor, sofa and a few other places in the house. The only issue I have, and it's totally my fault, is it's too small for large adult shirts and thusly takes more passes to iron on, but again, that's totally my fault. I purchased the 9x9 thinking of the shirts I was going to make for my younger daughters and I didn't think about the shirts I had to press for myself and my significant other. While it takes one pass for the kids, it takes 2 for me and 3-4 for his shirts. I should've purchased the 12x12, but you live and you learn. It's beginner friendly! Setting the timer and heat setting is easy as well when using the Cricut website's heat guide. I didn't even need to read the instructions because I read so many reviews! I bookmarked the heat guide before I even purchased the heat press, so when it arrived, I was good to go. Note: Please contact Cricut once you purchase your heat press for the cord that connects the press to your computer. They gave me mine for free and didn't charge for 2-3 day shipping either! It's dead now though thanks to the water Hurricane Ida spilled into my bedroom. I'm purchasing another though as soon as the personal property claim processes!

Great Heat Press-When It Actually Works
This 9”x9” Heat Press 2 is everything that Cricut advertised it is. It is a real honest-to-God heat press with a temp and timer controls built right in that is still similar in usage to a traditional common household iron. Yet it is convenient enough to store in an out of the way place like a drawer (like I do with mine) and very portable (allowing me to pick it up with just one hand to move it anywhere). Because of this, I always have the option to move it around a very tiny and cramped area (actually the corner of my 10 x 10 foot bedroom) before I heat it up depending on the intended projects’ sizes and shapes to make maximum use of what space I do have. I have already made several successful transfers to fabric with the 9" x 9" one. (See the Classic Mini Cooper Panel Truck sketch, the distinctive Cricut Logo HTV provided-in-box Bag stored away within my drawer, and Smudge Bar Test images). The main downside that I experienced with my new heat press is rather poor Quality Control practiced by either Cricut itself and/or the actual imported manufacturer of the device. Because I was so pleased with my new 9”x 9” device, I bought another one-the larger 12”x 10” model-a short time later. That one was a real lemon. It never worked like it should. The temp or the timer never could be set or heat up quite right. The vinyl Cricut logo which was included in the package never stuck completely to the also included bag. It was peeling off when I returned it and the heat press back to Amazon. Nothing could be done for that uneven image that I pressed onto my new nightgown (see closeup of it's uneven transfer) from that defected lemon. At least I don’t have to worry about someone else outside my house will ever see that sad preventable (if the thing actually worked right) disaster on my carefully sewn by me, brand new nightgown.Amazon was wonderful in helping me with returning my unexpected lemon. I arranged online to take it back to my local Kohl’s and my refund came very quickly soon afterwards. Cricut has developed a great idea and-sometimes-an actual great product when it does work for the consumer that cannot have a traditional cumbersome heat press in their own self limiting living place or for ease of travel. What could be their downfall is careless or even complete lack of Quality Control allowing such obvious defective products to be shipped out to their customers in the first place.

Don’t Put it Off - Just Buy It!
Easy to use, right out of the box, and the results are much better than I was getting while using a standard iron. When I was ironing the HTV, it often puckered and generally looked over heated. The results with the Easy Press have been more professional looking, and consistently so.A precut HTV Cricut logo glitter decal & canvas bag are included so that you may give this heat press a try as soon as you receive it. This practice project also doubles as a storage bag.Instructions are super simple—set the temp & set the timer. There is a cheat sheet of temps & times included, and you can also find it on Cricut’s site. There are a bunch of printables floating around on Pinterest, too.A pressing mat is available for purchase, but you can also just use a towel to protect your surface you are working on. They do not recommend working on a padded ironing board. I happen to have a pretty flat ironing board, and I’ve been using it without issue.

Easy use and greast for small business
This Cricut Easy press is a wonderful tool for making great shirts. It does the job so well I have people come up to me asking if I do this a business. I have done a few shirts and one Halloween outfit which the images I have below for you guys to look at. The product is not heavy at all very light for a heat press in my opinion, also it’s very easy to use. The Cricut has a small display that shows the temp of the product so if you needed to know how hot the device is. It comes with a heat tray as well so you can sit the product down without it burning a hole in your carpet or bed whichever you work at. I have a Cricut cutter which is a great combo with the press machine. I would easily recommend the product to other or even a small business.

This right here is wonnnnderfulllll!
Ok so, this might be one of my favorite purchases on amazon. And that says a lot, because I might have a purchasing addiction. Anyways, this has made my shirt crafting sooo much easier and it stores away unlike a press would. OH, I recommend getting a heat mat for this too since that's sold separately. The heating mat helps keep the heat on the shirt and reflects the heat back up to the underside.. This looks nice if it is left out next to my maker too. Doesn't look like a workshop in my room. Great product and gets hot really quick too. Be careful because this one can get wayyyy hotter than the first series and it does it in a hurry too.... So just remember that once you turn it on.
