Just what we needed to provide that additional protection and peace of mind for our new pool! We were worried about the size, but it was much larger than needed allowing us to trim the excess. Not much padding added but bottom of the pool is flat and smooth!

As other reviews mentioned, the material is felt like. But surprisingly durable. Bought an oversize rectangle piece to fit under my Costco Bestway 12x22 pool. Created a level pea gravel bed+heavy duty tarp with the Rhino pad on top. Very easy to smooth out the pool bottom when installing with the liner under it. Pleased with the results and very comfy on your feet.

This product was placed underneath the ground cover of an Intex metal frame pool and saved any sharp objects from puncturing my liner. The material is a thick felt road mat type material used under asphalt paving. It’s great at stopping roots or grasses from penetrating and destroying your pool. It was good insurance compared to the thin tarp that was supplied with the pool.

Almost indestructible but very thin. I wouldn't really call it a pad but it is a very good product.

This rhino pad is absolutely fantastic for above ground swimming pools. I’ve used it for four years now. Here in Texas there are a lot of crazy little bushes and really hard dry ground and this is helped. Keep my above ground pool liner protected and not having any holes from Any of the stickers that grow like goat, heads, ragweed I recommend it highly

It was advertised as being 1/8" thick. It is not. It's about 2mm thick. We bought 2 to ensure a nice soft padding under our above ground pool. Even with the 2 pads together, you can still feel every little bump. However it is a very dense felt material and the pool hasn't ripped yet.

This is definitely not worth the money. Buy something else. Way too thin than what we expected by a name like “rhino” but we were in a pinch after it finally arrived and we had to go with it instead of returning it. Oh well.

Bought this to put underneath above ground pool, and it has been best purchase I made. Bought metal landscape fabric clips to secure pad all around perimeter. No weeds or grass have sprouted underneath, and it is as good as new more than a year after install. Worth every penny.
