This is a fantastic book to add to anyone’s collection of American classic writings. If your on the fence on this one because of price, forget it. I’m 21, I am a patriot, and this is one of my favorites. Don’t think about it, Get It. Then you can thank me later.

I bought this book for the complete set of the Federalist Papers and was pleasantly surprised to find many more writings by the founding fathers. I read several pages each morning at work as I wait for my computer to boot up, and I could not be happier with this purchase. This is the single best compilation work for those interested in the founding of the United States of America, our Constitutional form of government, and the framer's intent.I have tried several times to located this book on Amazon, and I cannot look it up by title. I have to manually go back and pull it up from my past orders. I don't know why this occurs because it should easily be searchable and, truthfully, should be selling millions of copies. This book looks beautiful and would make an excellent graduation gift or simple gift for a history/politics fan.These documents should be required reading for all Americans. Great, great book.

Every true American should own this book. I bought three copies. I gave one to each of my Sons and of course, I have one. It is critical that all Americans read this book to learn more about their "GREAT NATION". It seems that most people have forgotten where their freedom came from. In today's society, young people and some not so young have taken this "GREAT NATION" for granted. Buy this book...you won't regret it.

Beautifully bound, this printing of our Constitution is a must read for every citizen and should be on everyone’s top 5 reading list. How can you swear to uphold something you’ve never read?

A few of the materials included are: Common Sense-Thomas Payne, The Articles of Confederation, The Federalist Papers, The Rights of the Colonists as Men-Samuel Adams, proposed drafts from the first constitutional convention, and capped off with a full version of the current Constitution of the United States (w/ Amendments).I found this to be an incredible collection to find context and reasoning for how our founding fathers arrived at the conclusions they did. A fantastic addition to any library. A few of the pages were very mildly stuck together but easily freed without damage. The font feels good for the page size. It doesn't feel like they tried to stuff too much onto a page. For someone just starting to pick up hard copies of writings like this, this book is a great "one-stop shop" for many of the most persuasive writings of the time.An important thing to note is that there is another book floating around with a very similar title called "The U.S. Constitution and Other Writings" (has a flag on the cover) which is a super partisan collection of writings. This is a different book and contains writings exclusively from the founding fathers, Continental Congress, and constitutional conventions.Unfortunately manufactured in China

It may have been printed in China, but everything seems to be here and complete.My only complaint is that the full constitution is located behind the Appendix page, otherwise it's a fantastic book worthy of anyone who loves their country.This book has the demeanor of a high quality collectors edition, and the detailed indented words of the constitution on the front cover are a nice touch.I am happy to say that this edition seams unmarred by todays extreme political agendas.I got my copy used at $50, and I am in no way disappointed. (I Just wish it was still in stock at Barns and Nobel for $25.)It shell be kept along side the family Bible, as the declaration and our Country's history are inspired by God.
