Mallory on Board Kindle Edition

My daughter has enjoyed the Mallory books immensely. She even wrote to Laurie Friedman and got a letter, bookmark, and a bookplate in response. I like that the stories are increasingly more involved as the books move along, keeping up with the reader's developing skills and ability to comprehend. Also, the books are "chunky" and don't look like other entry-level chapter books, which creates a sense of pride for those readers who may be wanting to read more challenging books but aren't quite ready. Way to go Ms. Friedman!

It is nice to have friends that you help out and that help you out. It takes everyone working together for the greater good. I considered this as I have always liked giving and care about others. Love being on board.

I like this book because it takes place on a cruise and I want to know why people go on cruise

It was a heart warming book I even got teary eyed in cryed I love that book best book I read

Mallory is a whiny, selfish character who cannot see beyond her own feelings. Her best friends' parents are getting married and she cannot see their worries about such a major life change. She feels excluded, even though she is one of the few guests at the wedding. At the end, the friends realize how selfish they were and apologize to her. I felt like the book was actually written by a third grader. There are no good models in this book and nothing I want my young reader to emulate. I am deeply disappointed as a parent.

Good moral

I rated this book five stars because it tells you that Mary Ann`s mom and Joey`s dad get married and Joey, Mary Ann,Winnie, Frank,and Collen become a family.Love, Reagan G.
