Goatskin gloves work great for Beekeeping. They stay supple even when wet. These are ventilated at the wrists. They are long sleeved and reach well beyond the elbow and have elastic ends that hold well even during strenuous work.

Great gloves for the money
Great gloves for the money! Glove section is thick and offers good protection from stings but doesn't have as much dexterity as I would like...trade off I guess. I started with a much thinner pair of goatskin gloves from another maker for more dexterity but stingers were easily getting through. Forearm section is thick (almost like burlap but still very flexible) and offers great protection too, the elastic band holds them up on my arms very well which comfortably comes up just above the elbow so they don't slide back down. I found them to be true to size. They don't breath much and can be hot but as a first year beekeeper they give me the confidence to just go right and do what I have to without much thought. Will definitely buy another pair when these go.

Very good gloves
These gloves are top-notch, though their sizing runs a little on the small size. Based on some other reviews, I ordered these in a size LARGE for my daughter, who usually wears a size Medium glove, and they fit her perfectly. (I generally wear a size Large and they are a bit snug on me.) The long sleeves made of heavy cotton fabric are very good, they go all the way up to her elbow and the fabric looks like it would be fairly effective in reducing stings (though to be fair, our bees have been very gentle so far this season and we've hardly had to wear protective clothing at all.)

Worked great, I did get a sting the other day through the glove but I did notice that if the glove is slightly damp my iPhone touch screen will work

Just what dad needed
These gloves are just what my dad needed…as a new beekeeper he was getting stung on his hands way too often, these gloves put a stop to that!
