The trick in eating them is to put one "pipa" vertically between your teeth, and with a sharp crack break open the shell and eat the sunflower seed. They arrived late and they were not fresh.
They arrived late, but neither the shop nor the post office replied to my messages. The markup from the pain they would fetch in Spain is already high, but in the end almost all of them ended up in the rubbish bin, The taste was not fresh at all in spite of being well within the use-by-date
