WASTE OF TIME & $$$!
I spent 1 and a half hours on my test napkin, chair sash, and table runner following the stove top directions word by word. DO NOT DO THIS! The directions say to get the darkest deepest shades use the stove top method so I used this for my test. Each of the 4 items came out the same charcoal grey with tie-dye stains of blue from dye that never disolved even after bringing to a simmer 4 times(as directed). Directions have you constantly agitate by pushing down fabric(specifically says not to stir) which probably keeps shoving fabric up against the undissolved dye for 30 minutes. Then rinse until water is clear (there goes all your purple down the drain). Such a waste of time, and money.

Funky color
Looking for aubergine, turned out plum. Did not cover the area evenly despite following instructions. Disappointed. Got rid of garment. Sad face.
