how do you read it like this

Actually, I was able to translate it long time ago, except for few parts. basically each sign is a character, and you can easily start assigning letters by translating the Pokemon name MEW. is this a real card, or a fake?

It's a real card from what I can tell. I've had fake cards before and I've seen the original versions of this card before. The ones I received were real and came in a card sleeve. It's not the highly sought after Japanese prints, though. Just the versions that came out with the Pokemon 2000 movie.

will it come with some sort of sleeve to protect the card? A CARD PROTECTOR?

Mine came with an unopened card in its original plastic with a hard plastic card protector over it. It was very well protected.

Is this a REAL ancient new

Yes it is a real ancient mew. The back can dictate that. The fake mew cards stem from the loss of gloss on the back and the dilation of holographics on the front. This is a real ancient mew
