Convenient and cost.
Just purchased the new iPhone so needed 2 jacks and I use my headphones a lot. Now that the head phone port has been taken out of the new iPhone this connector let’s me listen and charge at the same time. Not too expensive.

Close, very close
Will play my music and charge at the same time. Exactly what I wanted. But can’t hear incoming or outgoing calls over the car speakers like you can with the music. Doesn’t make sense. Almost perfect. I used Xs Max.

Just spend the extra on the Belkin one for $30
Someone stole my belkin so I didn't want to spend another 30 and wanted to try out a cheaper alternative since mine lasted well over a year and only didn't work because its gone now lol. So where to begin.2 star because hey it works....the ports on the dongle are too wide and create a weak fit. You completely lose the ability to use volume controls of ear buds Etc. It does still work but I don't trust that it won't do something funky to my phone. Also, when the audio is working its quality is immediately night and day awful. Makes me this the cracking is somehow going to destroy the drivers in my headphones. Don't buy.

Meh
Works fine when it works. Headphones work ‘mostly’, sound occasionally drops out. My biggest frustration is when using both the headphones and the charger (my main reason for purchasing, as I like my sleep tunes and ALSO like to wake up with a fully charged phone) ,.. frequently the charger doesn’t work or shuts off at some point. I woke up this morning to find my phone at 32% so I was not too happy. Best I can say is sometimes it works and sometimes it doesn’t. Overall I wish I’d spent the mega bucks on the actual apple adapter, or even more so, that I’d skipped the IPhone 7 altogether with its wonky single port 😩

Great
Love that I can charge it and have my older set of headphones plugged in at the same time. I anticipated to be able to leave the adapter in my phone at all times but if you do, then you need to carry around your headphones, since you have to unplug it to hear sound straight from your phone. I've already misplaced it because I had to take it out since I didn't have my headphones but, then again, that's on me.

DONT BUY
This is horrible. I would actually rate this with no stars if I could. Super staticy. Can hear anything. I would like a refund

Doesn’t work right.
It was static sound from the get go. If I messed with the plug it would go away but would come right back. I returned it. FYI. When I bought it the reviews were 5 stars by hundreds of reviews but didn’t notice till afterwards the reviews were selected from different products some how. They picked positive reviews from other products some how. Now it’s back to normal. 12 reviews and 2 1/2 stars. How did this happen.

Works but not good
The thing itself works but enough that you don’t get annoyed. I used it for a little while and it started to make static from my earbuds. This would continue on. Hoping the seller sees this and we have a discussion. The material itself was already banged up when it arrived but didn’t really care. If you unplug your headphones the music keeps going. If you have an in-line microphone or Colin up or down, it won’t work with this.
