Caterpillar Spring, Butterfly Summer: 10th Anniversary Edition

I ordered this book for a 2 year old child because she loves butterflies and I remember how much my own children loved this book. The touch and feel caterpillar that runs through the book is fantastic. However, I was a little disappointed that the butterfly at the very end of the book is no longer a big 3-d butterfly that pops up on the last page like the older version. This is still a great book for little ones though!!!

My daughter actually picked this out in a book store and sat for 30 minutes looking at it before I had to pry it from her hands when it was time to leave. I went home and ordered the book from Amazon.com, which saved me money!The book's "catarpillar" (which appears on every page but the last) is a slinky covered with green fabric that squeezes and expands again when each page is turned. The story's words are a fun fresh rhyme, and the book shows what happens when a catarpillar goes to "sleep."...He wakes up a butterfly, which is the pop-up that appears on the last page. Delightful. We read it again and again.

This has been a family favorite for years. I read it to my daughter when she was little and now I’m enjoying reading it to my grandson.

It's changed a bit since we got it in 2009 for our son. The last page was a pop out butterfly. Now it's flat and one dimensional. I hate it

I love this book!!! A great book for kids with the final page such a great surprise, I recommend it for any mom or grandma that loves to give books to kids:) I had bought it at a book store but needed to get another copy, I was so glad to have found it used and in such good condition for being a used book. I would have bought two but when they charged separate shipping for the second copy I canceled and bought just one...was sad about that!!!

I bought this book for my first baby and he absolutely loved it, it was one of his favorite's​growing up, this is why I decided to buy it again for my new baby and it's quickly becoming a favorite once again.

Was much smaller than my other version. This one was dirty as well.

This is such a cute book! I love to give books instead of giving cards for baby showers and Birthday gifts!

Although this book was listed as used and there was no charge, I was disappointed to find the last pop-up in the book - the most important and the reason I placed the order (to replace the one little fingers had "removed") - was missing also!
