Barbie Size Dollhouse Furniture - Cafe House Play Set

I picked this set because the majority of it is not pink and because it has a sturdy, rounded look to it. Would have preferred a different color than bright pink for the table and chairs, but the translucency is fun and there's a lot of blue to counterbalance it.In hand, it's about on par quality-wise with the Mattel Barbie Story Starter Tub I bought at TRU last week. Definitely not the flimsy junk I was expecting. It went together very easily, in about five minutes. No surprises or difficulties, although be sure to fit the counter of the cafe in before you snap the sides completely shut. All of the stickers were completely unsticky and dried out; nothing a little glue can't fix. I intend to replace the generic TV screen (which is fine but boring) with a Frozen or Big Hero 6 still. I actually like the counter as is, without the fake dessert display or cheesy sign, but I'm not sure what I'd replace it with or if I'll just leave it blank. This set lends itself to customization; I can see how a little black or white plastic paint could do a lot for it, and if it weren't for heavy play use I'd consider it.The little extras are a mix of attractive and clunky. The vase with bird of paradise and leaves is very solid, but ultimately a bit of a trap, since it's slightly too large and heavy and knocking it over will pretty much wipe out the rest of the table. The plates, saucers, and mugs are too chunky for the scale and look coarse and generic -- and the plates and saucers are so similar in size it's hard to tell them apart. The glasses and to go cups are nice. The play food is adorable; you get four individual cupcakes and a six piece cake to 'cut' using the included slightly oversize knife and pie server. I would recommend picking up some more play food and some nicer dishes if your child is at all picky (or if you're going to be regularly participating in tea parties and really find the chunky yellow plastic ugly). The two included 'fashion magazines' are just basic folding cardboard, with no pages, and pretty disposable.It's a decent set, enough so that I might pick up a couple more in this line to round out our dollhouse. I just wish there were nicer options for a bit more money with an actual working display cabinet and non-pink furniture.

I think this set is cute. However, I was a little miffed that it didn't come with the stickers that are supposed to be included (for the tv screen, sign and counter display). So now I have a tv with a blank screen, and a generic sign and counter that I will need to customize. Also, it didn't come with any assembly instructions. Not that it's rocket science, but it would have been nice to know that I needed to attach the counter top BEFORE putting the bottom part of the counter together. If you don't do this then all of the counter top prongs cannot be snapped into place. Overall, I do like this set. You get a lot of cute little accessories, and it's a great price when you compare it to the Mattel brand playsets that are double this price, if not more. If you plan to purchase, just keep in mind that it may not come with the stickers or instructions. But it's easy to assemble.

EXCELLENT BANG FOR THE BUCK! We Amazon-Prime-purchased EVERYTHING we could find in this brand on Amazon... very very very pleased with this product! The dollhouse pictured is 5 kits by American Plastic Toys (also on Amazon Prime) called "My Delightful Dollhouse".

This is a cute set overall with lots of fun accessories. None of the pieces needed to be glues like is so often the case with Gloria doll furniture, however the label sheet did come without any stickum, so the labels could not be applied without a glue stick otherwise this would be a five star set in my opinion.

I purchased the Barbie Cafe House for my 8-year old grand-daughter. She seems to enjoy playing with it but not for extended periods of time I've noticed. I think all the items that are included are very cute but also very tiny and a little unsteady when trying to "set" the table, etc. But...all in all, I think it was worth the money.

Amazing little set. Eveything in the set was as pictured. Good quality plastic pieces. Easy to assemble. Fits in well with any diorama. Dolls sit in the chairs comfortable. One sixth scale set.

My little girl loves this! It is an excellent product compared to the expensive Barbie brand.

I really wanted to leave 5 stars for this because it is super cute. However, ours arrived and was missing all of the decal stickers which makes it look like a cafe. My daughter was really disappointed. Not sure if its worth the hassle of returning and being charged the return shipping.
