Waterproof H1 3/5mm Vented Anatomical Hood without Bib

I ordered a 2XL cause I have a big head and at first when I unboxed it I was thinking there was no way I was going to make it into this thing. Gave it a try and it was surprisingly flexible to be able to fit my head in and then be more comfortable than any other hood I have worn previously. Excited to try it in the water this weekend!

Waterproof gear is among the top of all scuba products. The shipping was fast and was the exact item. Not a knock off.

Bought to wear with a new drysuit. Plenty warm, no bib to interfere with seals, and it's alright for hearing. Probably be my go to hood for wet suit as well until water starts getting below 40s

I have a huge head and this has been by far the best fitting for me. The vent on top works very well for me as well.

I love this hood. Much better than my previous hood with a large bib. I switched to a jacket style wetsuit with a front zipper, this works perfectly with that one.For sizing, I was just barely in the XL zone, so I ordered that. Turned out to be too loose, so I swapped it for a L and it's awesome.

Only used once for surf casting in conjunction with a Guy Cotten Montaul Top to stay dry taking waves over my head. Not perfectly dry but best solution I’ve found so far and would be better if I had a Dry Top with latex neck gasket. Not a cold night and still didn’t find myself getting hot.

I wore this last week while diving in the Point Loma kelp beds. The temperature was 52 degrees and my head stayed toasty warm. The only thing that I don't like is the choking feeling that I get while wearing it, but all hoods seem to be that way.

Great hood. The double vented design does not trap air when you descend. Kept my head warm in water temps down to 55 degrees F. The "glide" skin on the inside of the hood made it easy to don off and on. Hood also seems to dry really fast during surface intervals, which is a nice plus.The no-bib style makes this hood perfect for drysuit diving.
