Mantis 58V 2.5Ah Lithium Ion Battery

If you're doing any substantial work you'll definitely want the extra battery. Use one on low speed while the second is recharging. Take a short break, get something to drink, swap the batteries in the charger and you're right back to work. Battery is pricey but helps avoid a lot of frustrating down time waiting for a battery to recharge. Run time low speed 45 minute plus, steady run high speed about 20 minutes. Recharge time 45 - 50 minutes. This is rewardingly do-able. Pricey but makes the battery electric option the better choice. Mantis 58V Tiller plus the extra battery is about the same cost the gas model.

Got this battery for the mantis electric tiller. Works great. I till one part of my garden while one battery is charging, then switch out the batteries and finish tilling the garden. One battery last for about 20 minutes of full speed tilling.

I love this but wish it lasted longer

Slowly held less and less charge. Called Mantis. They won't replace because I bought through Amazon.

Tried 2 of these batteries. Both only lasted a couple of months
