Top notch brooder with excellent quality. Very easy to assemble with the option to have the door hinge from the right or left. Very smooth on the inside for easy cleaning. No smell to speak of like the other reviewer. Holds temperature great but the only thing you have to watch out for is when you have the door open for a bit then close it the temperature spikes high a couple of degrees. So I partially close the door until the temperature stabilizes then shut it all the way. Other then that I am satisfied with it. Hopefully it will last a long time and be reliable.

Excellent brooder and life support for any animal! I purchased this after my female cockatiel died knowing papa would need some ‘help’ raising the eggs she left behind. It’s been a blessing! Set up was pretty easy and so far it’s been super reliable! It’s been running constantly with very little breaks. After their raised I intend to keep it or lend it out to animal rescue friends for emergency care.Note: the eggs in my picture are fake, just there to keep the baby comfortable. I used a different product for the egg incubation but in a pinch this might of worked too.

Bought this for brooding my baby mynahs. I wouldn’t dare to just add heat lamp or pads for such a rare species. Very accurate at keeping temp

I am an avian & exotic animal veterinarian and recently bought this incubator to have at home when I need to bring hospitalized animals with me for overnight care. I've used it a couple of times already and so far it seems to be great. I find it to actually be very silent (contrary to other people commented) and the birds appear to be confortable with the white noise. It maintains the temperature beautifully and it is easy to disinfect. I definitely think this is a good option for small to medium sick birds as well as small mammals or even reptiles. It would also be good for baby birds that are still on formula. The humidity reading (not available in the cheaper model) is important in my opinion.

Came in original package from factory. Went together easy and everything worked great! No problems at all. Easy to program and just waiting on eggs to hatch now! Also can go to Brinsea website and register for warranty.

DO NOT BUY THIS PRODUCT. While it claims to be an incubator/brooder it is not It has this huge fan in it that blows constantly on top of the birds. The whole incubator is very noisy and complicated to use. I tried to return it and they refused. This is the most worthless purchase I have ever made-what a waste of money.
