Outside Light Sensor Automatic Chicken Coop Door Opener (AS)

Love it....BUT, the quality could be a little better. I'm on my second one as the first one gave out after about 9 months. Also the cord is very short so be prepared to drill a hole in your coop if you don't have a window or something near your coop door. Easy to install and works well; longevity seems to be an issue.

I bought one of these one year ago. It failed recently and one of my chickens was killed. I will keep a closer eye on this new one and make sure the door is closed at night. Hopefully this new one will last longer than one year. However, when it is working it is great. It is much easier than setting a timer.

Works great. Cord just needs to be about twice as long as it is. Otherwise no complaints

Ordered this in October, and it went bad already! I ordered another one, just in case I got a dud. It went bad in just a couple months also. Don't waste your time on these things!

Just bought it 2 months ago and it stopped working

It's worked great since day 1 and the automatic door makes having chickens so much easier. Though lately my sensor seems to become much more sensitive than it used to be. It won't trigger the door to close unless I put my hand over the sensor. Once it's closed the door stays closed

This was so easy to add to my coop door opener. Still working on adjusting the sensitivity, but so far works great. A must have if your coop is small with no windows. Cord was long enough to reach out thru the roof vent.

Works great, but annoyingly short cable. Spliced in some cheap two-conductor and it now sits 20' away from the door.
