Absolutely awful product do not buy
Absolutely terrible. Had this for 4 months now and it’s caused me nothing but stress. The mount has a mind of its own, opens and closes randomly so makes my phone drop out of the holder which can be very dangerous whilst I’m driving. Not only that, but it now doesn’t stay in place when I’m driving, instead it it’ll drop downwards at any slight bump in the road so I can’t even see the directions. Save your money!!

Steer clear of this unreliable and slow car wireless charger
After much testing I’m afraid I can not recommend this Qi wireless car charger. While it was enough to install the charger on my car’s vent, the problems began when I fitted my iPhone 8 Plus into the unit. It is possible to push the charger’s arms together to secure the phone, the arms are also controlled automatically, and have a mind of their own!At first the auto-fitting worked well, and I set off on a car journey, hoping to enjoy a new world of wireless charging while I drove. The automatic arms then decided to start adjusting the grip on my phone, which then wobbled from side to side. It is very disconcerting to be driving, concentrating hard on the road, and at the same time being aware of your valuable smartphone wobbling around a few inches away from you. I tested this phone and another on several journeys and the same problem occurred every time.Also, I am not sure about the value of wireless charging for a smartphone in a car. My main use case was of course to use my smartphone’s satellite navigation app. Unfortunately the wireless charging is so weak that my smartphone actually lost power while charging, with the sat nav app in operation. Add this to the fact that wireless car charging requires a cable between the dock and the car’s power port (or cigarette lighter as they used to be called), and I was left wondering if it would be quicker and more effective just to charge the smartphone directly into its lightning port.For these reasons I cannot recommend this product.
