Quality product but be careful with your assumptions. For example, I assumed this would include two sleeves for each end of the sling - not the case; only one.

I guess I baby my guns, so this apeald to me. The price was to high and shipping was outrageous. I had my doubts it would stay in place but so far it does what it should. I just thought is should be a little longer.

I noticed the product description is now clearer while the photo is a little misleading. This is simply the elastic cover for the hook not the hook end itself and the sleeve (elastic) which is what I was looking for. It's a little expensive for just the elastic.

This is a great divice for quieting the metal to metal sound of the hook and rifle connection points. The sleave is exactly the same as advertised. It is very heavy duty looking and takes a little effort to slide or roll it back enough to unhook it.

Good product.

Paired these with 1.25" MASH hooks on a WASR 10/63 rifle. They keep any metal/metal noise to a minimum.

This sleeve does what it promises. I used it on MASH hooks and it does an effective job of eliminating metal to metal noise.
