Strong adhesive... Just what I needed...

The adhesion on the tape is strong. I used it to secure runners on our wood stairs. It was easier to use than most double sided I've experienced. The backing was easy to remove. I deducted one star because the packaging was ridiculously hard to remove. The plastic stuck to the sides of the roll and came off in dime sized segments. It took a good 10 minutes to unravel and was EXTREMELY frustrating. I almost threw the d@mn thing in the trash....

I bought an area rug for my living room, set it out, and immediately my large dog flipped the corner up and began burying his toys under it. This created giant ripples which looked a lot like tunnels to my cat who started crawling through them, while my smaller dog stood on top off the rug and tired to catch him.I was beginning to think we were just going to be a ruggless household until a Google search lead me here.It was a struggle to get down, but well worth it. One issue I had that another reviewer mentioned was that the tape gets stuck to your scissors. I found though if you wipe them with a sanitizer wipe after each cut this helps tremendously.I've had it down for a week and so far no one has managed to dislodge it. I did use the entire roll but that's partly because a messed up halfway through and had to start over and partly because I was putting strips down every 4-6in as I knew it was about to take a beating. I can tell you, on the part I had to redo there was absolutely no residue on the carpet dispite how incredibly sticky this is?!?!Based on my experience I would definitely recommend having less pets to help keep your rugs straight, but if that's not an option this tape will do the trick.

We used this tape to stop a very large and VERY heavy wool rug from China from walking around on the carpeting underneath it. This tape is very grabby, easy to apply to underside of top rug, and rug has stopped moving. That is important to us because having to move rug back where it belongs has been difficult and frequently necessary. Product is excellent.This stuff is terrific. It has stopped a VERY heavy rug, that used to move around whenever it wanted, COLD. It has solved a longstanding problem, when nothing else would. Very impressive, I must say. I am very surprised at these results.Following up, I can report very heavy rug has not moved. I am very surprised once again. This rug used to do whatever it wanted. Now, it seems to be doing what we want it to do.

It took us nearly 2 hours with 2 people to scrape the residue left on a hardwood flow. Did not even try to remove the one on the carpet, we had to throw the carpet away. We used as instructed and tried all the tricks mentioned to remove the residue.

I used this product to tape stair threads on top of my carpeted stairs that were very old and the double sided tape is strong, it's been about two weeks since the carpets were taped and there has been no movement or misplacement. The price was good since I got the lengthier tape which I used all of it for about 14 stairs.

Good quality material and good value for money, does the job and helps jeep my rug in place on top of my carpet, no more bulges or creases, wish i'd found this years ago, my rug is quite thick and large so it does work, stickiness is great and i can lift rug up to vaccum and stick down again, if stickiness did start to go you get plenty on the roll so just re-do, overall happy.
