Let me compare this to the Chantelle High Impact.
A lot of popular items are famous because they're famous. It's famous, so people talk about it, so you buy it, and because it's fine and you have no point of comparison, you also sing its praises. So the cycle continues, and vastly overrated reputations come to be.I thought this was what the Panache Sport bra was. It's a famous brand - it's basically the first thing recommended in fitting forums, used as both a beginner's guide and a holy grail - so I thought a part of its fame was due to the fact that it was already famous. I put it on though, and knew instantly that I was wrong. And after wearing its competitor, Chantelle High Impact, for a while and trying this again, I knew exactly how wrong. At first glance, this bra looks a lot like the Chantelle. Both are for projected busts, with deep cups. There's separation and encapsulation. There's good support and bounce control despite looking so projected and not squished or compressed at all. Both have wide straps and can be crossed in the back. Both have three hooks. Both have similar fit around the band. Both are very supportive and feel like armor. However, the Chantelle has more depth and width for the same size. The cup is deeper and the lift is more pronounced. The straps are stiffer, higher profile, seams more pronounced all along the edge of the folded fabric that's sewn together; in conclusion, it chafes because it doesn't move with you well, and has chafey elements. The underwire is also wider, and runs under your armpit in a more shallow U shape. The bottom of the cup has a certain kind of fabric, which is the majority of the cup, and this fabric is like mesh. Perhaps it's supposed to help with ventilation, but it's thick and feels more spongey and padded than the Panache. And because the underwire is wider, this mesh runs under your armpits until the underwire ends, which means the soft underside of your arm will be rubbing and chafing painfully against this mesh.I'd read someone once writing that Chantelle = Panache in terms of their high impact bras, and because they looked the same at first glance, I didn't think twice about throwing on my Chantelle in place of Panache when working out. But when my shoulders were irritated from the straps and the underarm chafing became unbearably painful, and I was overall feeling like I was wearing padded armor, I tried switching to my Panache and instantly saw the error of my ways. It lays much more flat against your skin, the straps are softer and stretchier and lower profile, the cups aren't covered in thick, scratchy mesh, and the underwires are more narrow and steep under the armpit - and the fabric is soft regardless. This is the ultimate holy grail, and deservedly so for its thoughtful design. I'm not one to spend much money on undergarments but this one deserves it.

New Racerback Magnetic Fastening and Slightly Longer Straps = Major Improvement
The new magnetic fastener and longer straps make this bra far more versatile and usable. The old fasteners didn't work for me at all.Bra straps have been a major issue for my narrow shoulders. I was constantly having to adjust the straps as they slid down my shoulders. Panache's previous racerback straps didn't work -- the attachment was impossible to use (see 2nd photo) and the straps were too short to handle my DDD cup size. The new magnet attachment (first photo) is easy to attach and release, and slightly longer straps have transformed this bra into one that actually completely works for me. The straps finally stay put. It's actually incredible to not have to be constantly adjusting them to keep them up. And the bra continues to fit well. This recent change results in a major improvement to this bra.

Gave it a try but disappointed
I purchased this bra through Amazon based on all the rave reviews. The bra arrived quickly and in good condition. I guess I didn't realize that this bra has those pre molded, stiff cups that manufacturers think women want. Overall the bra is made well but the cups do not provide the coverage I had hoped for. I wear a 36D, and that's what I ordered, however the pre molded cups aren't made for full figured women, at least not this woman. When I move in the bra there is bounce and jiggle. Not what I had hoped for. I need a black workout bra so I'll keep it and try it in Zumba class. . Hope to follow-up after a few wears.8/28/13 Follow-upSo I wore the bra to several Zumba classes one of which was pretty high impact. The bra was comfortable but the jiggle and bounce factor is huge and could be eliminated if the straps weren't made of elastic. Also, the cups are so thick, stiff and padded the sweat factor is magnified. Poor design. Guess I'll keep it for Zumba demonstrations or low impact classes.Side note: I have several Freya underwire sports bras that are specifically made for full figured women. Much better design and fit. The girls do not bounce or jiggle and the Freya bra is extremely well made and durable.September 6, 2012 Follow-up: After a few washings in the gentle cycle using only Woolite and hanging to dry the cups are losing their shape and becoming lumpy. Another con is storing the darn thing in my bra drawer. The cups are so stiff and huge I have to store it in a bottom drawer away from my other bras.I gave it a fair try: Overall, for the price I am disappointed. Stiff, heavy cups, elastic bra straps (which do not stop jiggle or bounce), poor design. Very disappointed. Will never purchase another Panache bra. Stick with Freya ladies.

Before & After
As you can see in the photo, the before (left) and after (right) for my daughter is such a huge difference. Her figure looks so much better now. This bra is very supportive...picks up the girls and puts them where they're supposed to be. A spacer is between each cup to keep from getting the uni-boob, too. Also, a true sports bra...you can actually jump up and down without being embarrassed by the boobs flying. I didn't even think that was possible before this bra. Great for teenagers! This was my daughters first underwire bra, but she says it's comfortable & has no complaints. My daughter loves this bra! This bra has helped with her posture & self-esteem. I highly recommend this bra for those of us who were not naturally blessed with the perky boobs genetics.I've purchased her 3 of these bras and I have one too. Can't recommend enough!

Worth it
I’ve been wearing this panache bra for years. My first one lasted me about 6 years and eventually the strap gave out making it semi-less supportive and it would’ve needed a change of clasps at the back but I think this was more attuned to me trying to fit into a size smaller when I had gained weight, stretching the fabric. I fluctuate between a 6DD and F cup and this is the best brand for support in high impact sports / exercise. Definitely worth your money

Habe lange nach einem solchen BH gesucht. Beim Reiten wackelt und rutscht nix mehr, macht eine super Form. Bestellte Größe entsprach meinen bisherigen Maßen.

Best Bra I have ever had - had to order up a cup size
Best sports bra I have ever had and so comfortable I have been wearing it all the time. Full coverage, no movement. very comfortable. Worth the price. Had to order a D cup where in other brands i would order a C cup. Ordered every colour after I got the first one.

Great coverage and it flatters the breasts! :3
So far, my favorite bra that I have owned. My previous one got wrecked, wire came out, 'cause I washed it and dried it in a machine when it said not to. The fit and the coverage is amazing, no back flab, and it flatters the bust area while keeping the pillows in check. So I had to buy it again, as it is still my fav bra due to its great coverage and breast support.
