Any DOT approved helmet is going to have some bulk to it, this is one of the slimmest I've tried and for a good price. You can look at the picture and judge for yourself but based on the other helmets I've tried, this is minimally mushrooming.It's comfortable, lightweight and has a very good metal quick-release buckle.Now about the customer service. I had some questions about the return policy. Kristina responded by email immediately. Basically you do not have to pay for return shipping if the helmet isn't right as long as the helmet is still in pristine condition with the tags still attached. Additionally they will include different sized liners for free if you ask them. I trusted the chart and went with a size small because my head measures 22 and a half inches. Kristina included the medium liner which ended up having a much better fit than the normal small liner. I'm very pleased and bought a second helmet. Definitely a company that cares about getting it right.

This is a really nice helmet. Comfortable. Not too heavy. I really like the ratchet type buckle. The only negative is that it sits high on the head.

I definitely am not a full helmet guy. All the other half helmets left me with that "mushroom head" look. I've got a narrow head and this is the best fit I could find. I had help from Voss's site which made the decision making easier.

awesome lid. way more low profile than any daytona or skidlid. not sure how it compares to akoury but it sits low for me. zero freeway buffet.

Purchased for my boyfriend, who is VERY picky about his helmets. He loves it. A perfect fit & very cool.

The Helmet was a gift, He was exited to get it, I even picked out the right one.hopefully he never gets to see how well it works.

Got my new helmet and it fits great... The only thing is that the top of my head feels like there is a knot on the very top. Must be cause I haven't wore it much but I'm sure it will break in once I wear it more. Besides that fits like a glove, thanks to the size chart.

Nice looking helmet but not as comfortable as I’m use to. A little hard and less padded on the inside. Slight mushroom head. But the skulls look sick.
