Women's X Ultra 3 Hiking Shoes Trail Running

This product is lightweight, supportive, and beautifully made. The shoe is gray with baby blue reflective material on it. Very pretty. Fantastic for running or a regular workout of stairs, walking, etc. Love these shoes. Somewhat pricey, but worth the cost.

Value for the money. Loved the comfort and weight.

I had to watch YouTube to figure out the laces but they’re slick and now that I know how they work I love them. The shoes themselves also add great stability.

I have had several pairs of Salomon hiking boots, hiking shoes, and trail running shoes. I only wear low hiking shoes or trail runners for in summer. All of my summer hiking shoes were pretty much worn out and I needed a replacement. I decided on the Salomon X-Ultra 3 hiking shoes. I ordered size 8.5, the size I always wear in Salomon. The shoes arrived I tried them on briefly in my house and decided they worked. I put them on to go hiking and realized before leaving the house that they did not work. No matter how much I tightened the laces, the fit was sloppy -- because they were about a half size too large So while I loved these shoes, I had to send them back because (as others have noted) they do run large.

I am so glad that I went ahead and bought these! The lacing system is awesome And the support of the shoe is great. Super comfortable and my feet do not hurt after wearing these. Wore them all over both Zion and Bryce and the traction on the bottom helped me to conquer angels landing. Best shoe I’ve ever worn. Buy them! You won’t regret it!

I have read a lot of views in regards to shoes made by Salomon. For one shoe or another I would hear how it's too small or too big, it's too narrow or it's too wide and there is no consistency whatsoever.I wear a womens US shoe size 8.5 and I always buy a size 9. You are supposed to leave a bit of space up front to help prevent ingrown toe nails and to protect your toes. I have about .5 of an inch of space up from and my pinky toe briefly touches the side..and I have wide feet.I was surprised at how blue they look. I was expecting a grayish color based on the picture in the posting. I get the impression that it is meant to be somewhat confirming to your feet because you don't insert your foot the same way as a garden variety sneaker.Anyway I am wheelchair bound and needed some good shoes for my physical therapy and I'm glad that I picked these.

OMG!!!!!! I wore these for a quick little walk and thought maybe they were a little too big but decided to give them a try. Soooo glad I did! I wore them hiking all day yesterday and couldn’t be happier. No blisters or rubbing, foot totally secure. Well balanced and supportive. Not clunky looking. These will be my go to shoes!

I use these shoes for exercise class and hiking. I’m 5’5” 128 lbs and do not consider myself hard on shoes, but the toe mesh of these shoes splits within the year. I keep buying them because they fit well and I like the Salomon lacing system. I was used to it fromcross country ski boots.

First time on and came back with wet toes - never had this before but most unhappy, would not buy again.

Als Jakobspilgerin mit vielen Hundert Kilometern am Stück braucht es einen anständigen Schuh. Mein erstes Modell war ein Lowa Wanderstiefel bis über das Sprunggelenk. Bis dahin mein bequemster Schuh für längeres zu Fuß Gehen. Doch... bei echter Dauerbelastung... zu schwer, zu heiß, zu hart, zu ungedämpft. Blasen, Fuß- und Sohlenschmerzen waren mein Los und das Wochenlang. Auf meinem zweiten Jakobsweg musste also ein anderer Schuh her. Leicht, luftdurchlässig (ohne Gore), niedrig und weich im Bett. Es wurde ein Salomon. Und es war die perfekte Wahl. Zumindest für mich. Nach zwei Jahren und ca. 2000 km war der Schuh dann wirklich fertig und abgelaufen. Aber den Füssen ging es noch immer gut. Daher musste sofort das gleiche Modell wieder her. Null Blasen, Null Fußschmerzen, Null Hitzestau. Ein völlig neues Pilgergefühl war das :) Ich hoffe, das Modell bleibt noch lange im Sortiment.

Los he estrenando en 11 horas de sendero y fueron de gran ayuda, el agarre,la protección que brinda. No tuve lesiones de ningún tipo. Los recomiendo ampliamente. Soy talla 24cm y me quedaron perfectos la punta es más ancha así que no sufres al final del día.

Good to start. Sturdy good fit. But at three months in the heel on one shoe ripped and now causes a blister if worn. Disappointing for the brand. Would not recommend.
