Great book. Must-have for BAs and SAs
A good overview of all key topics. Only some latest additions, such as SmartEdit Versioning, are not included in the first edition. The majority of all other features are greatly explained. As for drawbacks... If you are a business analyst, sometimes you will stumble upon code samples and other low-level stuff which might seem like nonsense gibberish to you. If you a developer and the code samples and spring bean names are exactly what you are looking for, you won't find 90% of what you need, but you will be able to see a big picture and find the missing info in the hybrishelp. Many thanks to the authors from Hybrismart.com,Rauf Aliev

Can be useful, but there are some errors
I bought this book to review on SAP Commerce topics and to learn about best practices. I've only read Chapter 8 and Chapter 3.5 so far, and I've found some issues.Chapter 8 Search and Navigation issues:- page 362: * symbol is used for fuzzy, and ~ is used for wildcard. This is should be ~ for fuzzy, and * for wildcard.- page 370: Under "Search profiles run on the following extensions", adaptivesearch is mentioned twice.Should they be merged, or is one of them incorrect?- page 380: DixMaxFreeTextQueryBuilder is mentioned. This should be DisMaxFreeTextQueryBuilder.Chapter 3.5 Promotions issues:- page 126: In Figure 3.9, CodeRedemption.coupon is Strong, instead of String- page 130: In Figure 3.13, the caption is "Rule Runtime Data in Rule-Aware Objects Diagram".Shouldn't this be "Rule Parameter Data"?- page 135/136: droolsruleengineservices is mentioned 2 times.Chapter 8 was easier for me to digest, compared to Chapter 3.5. I'm hoping this will still be a good book / reference, once I read the other chapters. So far, I have not seen any errata for this book (yet).
