Silent R-Series Low Volume Cymbal Pack Box Set+18 Crash

Lower volume without sacrificing tone. Only the hi-hat sounded not as expected. It has a trashy, china cymbal type of sound. Not bad, just different. The ride and crash cymbals sound great. We actually had to lower the overhead mics to pickup the cymbals better.

I have been playing with the Agean R Series cymbals for a few days now and absolutely love them! I have a converted acoustic kit with mesh heads and triggers along with Roland cymbals. Occasionally I would put my real cymbals on the kit because rubber electronic cymbals just don't cut it in my opinion.The Agean R Series Low Noise cymbals are great sounding cymbals that look and feel like regular cymbals, but at about half the noise level. They are a lot louder than Roland cymbals, but quieter than regular cymbals. They would probably be too loud for someone living in an apartment. These are not just practice cymbals, you can use them on live gigs and recordings. They are a true joy to play and I can't imagine ever going back to rubber electronic cymbals after playing these!
