You will no doubt notice that there are 9 reviews rating this product 5 Stars and 1 each that are one star and two star. Come ON! Only 13 Cents for a battery that Sony charges 39 dollars for and someone will find something wrong with it. I purchased two of these batteries for my Sony DSC-H20 a year ago ( for $1.83 each) and they work GREAT. These are made in China, which is probably where Sony has THEIR batteries made. They perform exactly like the Sony battery that came with my camera. I have used them and recharged them multiple times. If you like to take pictures and movies with your Sony Camera, buy ten before they go away. By the way Mr. 1 star, if you read the description on Amazon it says the battery is rated 1060 mAh not the 1400mAh indicated on the battery. You can also order the higher capacity battery on Amazon if you prefer, but you probably won't like it either.

Well it's kinda confusing now to give a review because it's 1060mAh and I got 1400mAh as at the picture. Well any way. The weight of 1400mAh battery feels like lighter then original Sony battery (1060 mAh - even much more noticeable). I discharged new battery completely and charged again. My camera Sony DSC -H55 shown at first time remaining minutes - 160 for taking still shots, 360 for play time, 88 - for taking video. After 5-6 shots turning off and then on the camera shows 120 min of remaining time for still images, 258 - play time. Then remaining time started kind of jump up and down. After about 30 still shots the remaining time of still images - 84 min, for video - 64 min, play time - 161min. Battery indicator shows 3/4 full, based on what, this battery will be long last for Sony H55 for about 130 still images. This includes zooming, flash on, play time for short previews, without taking a video. Another fact: I placed the same battery (with 3/4 charge shown on H55) in Sony DSC-H7. This camera didn't show remaining minutes but battery indicator shows FULL CHARGE. All in all I'm fine with this battery. It may need couple full discharges to start work in full capacity. In my opinion it worth the price anyway.

The battery works and brought life back to my old Sony camera. Sometimes I get a message on my camera screen that says the battery won't work because it's not a Sony original, but then I power it off and back on and then it works, so I guess that's good enough for me, as long as it works. The battery life seems pretty good, and I would buy this battery again.

I've had this battery for a year and a half for my Sony DSC-H3 and am amazed at the lenghth of time it can keep a charge. I'm of the mind that rechargable batteries suit me better for cameras than AAs. This one will recharge in a couple of hours and is good for 300+ shots. That's more than most memory cards will go. My sister took the camera to Atlantic City for the weekend, the pictures were garish, but the battery worked fine.

Works just as well as the original Sony battery that came with the camera. I charge one while I use the other and swap back and forth. There may be a small differece, but not a significant enough difference that I have actually noticed. For the difference if the price of the actual Sony battery and this one - I think this one works PERFECTLY.

FYI: If you bought this battery from seller BargainCell then it is NP-FG1 3.6v 950mAh, which only cost $4.97 + $2.98 shipping at another link. There is no 1400mAh battery.I did the full charge and my W220 showed 130 min.

Battery works as it should, charged up normally. Good battery, great price. Does what it's supposed to do! I bought several more. :-)
