Growing the Northeast Garden: Regional Ornamental Gardening (Regional Ornamental Gardening Series)

A wonderful book for gardeners
I would recommend this book for any gardener in the Northeast US or a similar growing zone. This book was recommended in a session I was taking to become a Master Gardener volunteer, before I dropped out to rejoin the cubicle world. It's well written and an enjoyment to read, versus some books that can be too technical in nature. Wether you are an urban gardener or have a couple acres, there is something in this book for you.

Great Book!
We bought a new house and live in MA.. Lots of land so we are mapping out our garden area. This book was VERY helpful to understand what types of shrubs and flowers I can incorporate into the space. Informative and great pictures.I'm very excited to see it all come together.

Great book!
Information is tailored to New England with the information needed regarding sun, water and shade. Nice pictures of landscape design ideas, again specific to shade and sun. Borrowed from my library and found it so useful I bought it.

Good
Good book, good pictures, good information. The organization is good if you are going to sit and read it, but a little cumbersome when using as a reference.

Best in Class
A wonderful book to curl up with and enjoy, as well as a great reference book. The photographs are stunning! The narrative is well written and helpful. I highly encourage people to snap it up.

A must have
One of the best books I've owned on this subject. Pictures and write-ups are excellent. I use it all the time for reference.
