Absolutely amazed with how this vinyl feel and sounds.The vinyl itself is heavy weight and screams of quality.The audio quality is amazing.It's so great to get to own this on vinyl again after all these years.This is Janet Jackson's 3rd album and it's where it all started for me as a Janet fan.

Great reissue of a classic

I liked Janet Jackson's style and music when she first started out. In fact, she was my favourite of 'The Jackson Family' back then. I loved all her Singles, and I bought this, her first Album and thought it was great. I then bought her second as it came out: 'Rhythm Nation' - thought that was pretty good too - but not so great, and then finally, when reaching 'Janet' - her third, that, I liked a little less still... I decided then I didn't like the direction she was taking after this, and have not purchased any of her work since. The 'Janet' Album did give a couple of really cool Singles: 'That's The Way Love Goes' and 'Again', but I wasn't too keen on the actual Album material. Ironically (for me at least) it did give her a Number One in the Albums Chart, yet her best effort in my opinion 'Control', this one; only peaked at Number Eight, and only then on its 're-entry', astonishingly only having got to Number Fifteen first time around!!This debut was great though! It features all her first FIVE hit Singles she had at the time, and with quality Tracks like; 'When I Think Of You', 'He Doesn't Know I'm Alive' (and we've all been there!) and 'Let's Wait Awhile'; this Album became a 'classic' for me and could not go wrong.A great sound captured from a quarter of a century ago! (seems hard to believe really...)

Absolute disgrace the way the factories send these records out for sale! Record was that tight inside of sleeve i had to tear the sleeve open to get record out and then the record is covered in that much dirt and paper fibres there was crackling noise all the way through after i cleaned it with a cloth (I don’t use liquids etc as ALL cleaning liquids damage records and make them worse)

Uno de los primeros álbumes que compré. Fascinante la música de esta extraordinaria y multifacética artista. El inicio de una gran trayectoria. Sonido finalmente remasterizado. Finalmente el Vinyl lo hace único y especial.

Un classique enfin réédité en vinyle. Indémodable.
