It will hold my full size PT-92 with a loaded 21 round magazine and mounted light, but I wouldn't want to drive down a bumpy dirt road with it. The screws aren't the best I've ever seen, but if you drill a tiny pilot hole they seem fine. They aren't self-tapping. For long term carry of a pistol in a vehicle, I would personally put a bit of microfiber cloth (like you get with glasses) between the magnet and pistol. The rubber is soft but has ridges that I wouldn't trust to not mar the finish as the pistol will vibrate as you drive. The Hellcat I currently own has almost no usable storage beyond the console box, glove box on the passenger side, a mesh pocket by your knee which will hold precisely nothing, and a little slot for a wallet or something, so I'm happy to have this. I would rate it 4.5 but as it isn't an option I will give it 5 with some reservations. The knife is just going to stay in there so not worried about pulling it off repeatedly. Despite having a spring steel clip on the sheath I found it more secure to just remove the sheath, put it in the glove box, and stick the bare blade to the magnet. It's low profile so no danger of the blade cutting or poking you. I'm kind of excited to see what I can use the other one for.
