NASB, Single-Column Reference Bible, Wide Margin, Leathersoft, Brown, 1995 Text, Comfort Print

Absolutely LOVE this Bible! I have admittedly loved the NASB translation ever since I learned about it. The large text is easy to read, though I am capable of reading text at a smaller point size. The Leathersoft cover is nice and supple and feels like it will last longer than my old faithful 1977 NASB Bible, which I am not getting rid of (but it has seen better days, since it is well-used). The text is very easy to read.This is my second single-column reference Bible, my other one being an ESV Study Bible. I like that this one has generous gutter margins, making the text next to those inner margins easy to read, and that it puts the cross references at the outer edge of the page. The line length for that single column is perfect, too. The ESV puts its cross references next to the gutter margins, and the text for those references are smaller, making reading them more difficult. Not so with this NASB.Admittedly, I much prefer the old NASB that used the archaic second-person pronouns for God while keeping the rest of the translation modern, but this ’95 version is okay. I’ve noticed that a few of the old footnotes have disappeared, but only because they used the alternate translation found in those old footnotes.I look forward to many years using this new Bible.

It has heft, but I don't mind that. It feels good in the hand. Opens flat, easy to read. Color print here and there is a bit of an adjustment (not red lettered, just like accents). Faux leather actually feels really good-I even double checked I bought the faux leather version. I bought it to use specifically for a dedicated quiet time, so I wouldn't have to tote my other Bible back and forth. I am quite happy with this purchase.

This is a very nice Bible with heavier pages and room to write your own thoughts and references. The font size is good and while the perfect study Bible for me is yet to be made I find this Bible very useful.

This is a great Bible to have rebound. Premium paper and is sewn very well. The pages have an off white tint with generous margins. Only thing that could be better is to move the references to the inside so the text is not in the ditch.

This is the most “expensive” feeling Bibles I’ve ever laid my hands on. The pages are thicker than most and so soft. They almost feel weighted. Plenty of room in the margins for notes, but I’m scared to write on it because it is so pretty!!Only downside isr that it is SO big. Would be difficult to carry around!Overall, incredible quality.

I find this bible very useful. Highly recommended it. I have lots of other Bible's. This one is one of the best.

I like the simplicity of this bible. Good page placement with cross references and plenty of room to add notes in the margins, if you like that sort of thing and I do! Single column and decent sized print is gentle on the eyes for reading. The cover is super soft browning colour with pages of edged gold that seemingly turn rose gold when it is opened. The paper is somewhat ghosting from the back but nothing that distracts myself. I tried highlighting and it somewhat shows so will find a wax highlighter as I can see it may bleed through with wetter highlighter pens. It is heavier than my last amplified version but it sits comfortably on my lap and doesnt move. Delivery was fast and even showed up 3 days before it was expected in great condition.
