Stick Burner - Clean, clean, clean
Re-Seasoned the smoker and completed 2 cooks now. Holding up great in the smoke chamber and the firebox. Easy application and sticking well for me. I'll tell you though, I really cleaned it up good before applying. I scrubbed with a little dish soap and it was still dirty. I used a scrub brush, still dirty. Finally, I attached a soft brush head onto my drill, scrubbed again and then took alcohol over it 3x. After the 3rd time, I still removed a little black. Bottom line, a seasoned smoker might need super cleaning but it worked great for me. I suspect some of the bad reviews (based on how dirty they can be) came from folks that didn't clean well.

Adhesive backing was not sticky at all, so couldn't use the item.

Try ,try again!
I cleaned the areas where it was to go..but it did not stay on very long..about 1 month...it started piling off. Need a replacement for it.

Wouldn’t Stick to Hot Molasses
Absolute junk. I cleaned the surfaces with rubbing alcohol and the adhesive was still worthless. I am going to try running a bead of high-temp silicone around the leaky spots and sticking it down with that.
